Good afternoon all my angelic peeps!First off let me say how sorry I am that I feel I have let you all done the past two or so weeks. Without going into too much personal detail I have been very busy with things at work, trying to move out of my parent’s house again and into my own place, taking care of my grandfather and such plus my own personal issues, and being a bit sick the past few days to boot!
That said secondly, let me also thank you all for continuing to hang in there with me on the Ark Angel through this all. It took a little longer then I would have liked given a variety of reasons to finish our main sim, but we finally did it! With it means your lovely CO/GM (aka me!) needs a few more days to prepare our next sim. My goal is to roll it out sometime by next week or so. Till then if everyone could focus on post mission side sims while our lovely Ark Angel gets some much needed repair work at our home base of Starbase 243. Roughly speaking play out our down time in between sims to be about a weekish in game time if you feel the need to track such for your character.
With that said, the third order of business is finally recognizing some hard work over and during this last sim out of character by some folks. Who without their heavy lifting help I would not have been able to keep rolling as I did here for you all.
First off is our amazing XO Mika Jackson, Mike you did amazing work and help in helping out with the behind the scene stuff with awol check ups and ship management. You also saved our bacon when I screwed up our MOTD code trying to do some updates!
Second on the list Is Clayton Strong, I know you’re a bit newer to the ship but you stepped up in a lively manner since joining as an engineering JO and officially then ooc into our vacant Chief Engineer role. I will of course shortly be making a side sim making such official in character.
Third is Ray Branch, Ray as always you’re a steadily moving but silent rock of a poster which I can always rely on for helping move things in a sim when JOs and DH’s alike. So again much thanks for you for the help!
Fourth is Christopher Huskins and Amdirgol S you both did great work too in chomping through the meat of the sim when things were getting slow due in part to my own life. But you hung by us and me to get through things. Again I know it was slow going but I promise that’s normally not how I roll. Thank you though for staying aboard!
Lastly our late comer to the ship from the Academy, Steve Alliss. I can only imagine the negative view my posting and slowness of the ship may have left on you. For that I’m sorry if you think such, as I said I’m normally quite an active CO and GM as many others will relate to you in STF if you ask. I also know the frustration coming aboard mid sim and struggling to find a spot to get active. But you’ve held your own with pre-sim boarding posts and helped where you could. So hopefully our next sim coming up will feel more rewarding being here from the get go!
With all this said and done you all also deserve thanks from me a lot for being here to enjoy stories I prepare, without us all working together STF and the Ark Angel wouldn’t be the enjoyable environments they can be. This seem to be a great ship. Look forward to spending more time with y’all. Even with the crazy CO/GM being a cockroach. Hope everyone is staying safe. We are having some winter weather down here and I will not be going anywhere in a car until its melted.
