Raith rang the door chime with his heart in his throat. He thought of all the decisions that had led him to this moment. Turning away from Anthropology to join Starfleet. Transferring from sciences to security. His parents had asked if he was TRYING to get himself killed. He wasn’t. There was some sort of death wish in him. He just wanted to explore and see the universe. Like Cass. He had the same wanderlust she did. That their parents used to. And it all led him here, to meet his CO for the first time.Around a corner came Ensign Luna. She had blond hair blue eyes and pail skin. Along with a set of wings white with black spots. ” You must be the new Sacurity officer. Welcome to the team, don’t worry the chef is a great person once you get to know him” She said then continued on about her partols.
OOC: Welcome aboard, Luna is not staying to talk just wishing well as she passes.
ChristinaRaith turned suddenly, snapped out of his thoughts by the ensign’s greeting. He gave a quick smile to her and said, “Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind.” His British accent making him sound like a Jane Austin character. He gave her a brief wave as she continued down the hall.

As Luna rounded the corner, the doors to the Security Office parted to reveal Lieutenant Kyle Anders leaning against the bulkhead, a warm grin across his face, “I thought I heard the dulcet tones of a fellow Brit gracing the corridor lad, you must be Ensign Raith, come on in!”

OOC: Gotcha, working on that.IC: As the doors opened, Raith snapped his attention back to find the Lieutenant standing before him. Raith smiled at the familiar accent that greeted him, “Good evening, sir. Good to see another man from the Angle Isle aboard.” Raith stepped in behind the lieutenant, “Ensign Johnathan Raith reporting for duty sir.”

Kyle chuckled. “Don’t strain yourself lad, don’t want an injury on your first day. At ease and come on in, can I get you anything from the replicator?”
