Lilliana had successfully completed her medical physical and her psychological evaluation declaring her fit for full duty. She only had two things left to be officially “checked in” onboard, meeting her department head, the Chief of Security, and meeting with the Captain. She stood outside of the security chief’s office and pressed the chime. She waited until she was advised to enter, walked into the center of the office, stood at attention, and reported sharply.
“Come!” Arthur said, not looking up from a Padd he was working on.
“Ensign Lilliana Harmon, reporting for duty as Assistant Security Officer, Chief,” She said in a chipper voice. Everything about her presence exuded fresh from the Academy excitement and naivete. Everything about her personal appearance said she had too much time on her hands. Her face was perfectly made up and her hair looked like a professional had styled it for hours.
She waited to be acknowledged and then handed the padd to the Chief of Security which displayed her reports showing her fit for full duty. “I’ve completed my onboard physical as well as my required mental health evaluation and have been declared fit for full duty.”
Arthur glanced briefly at the Padd, before he looked up at Lilliana. His hair was braided in traditional Klingon fashion, the Bat’leth on the back wall behind his desk was freshly sharpened, and he looked much like a human out of his own culture, mixed into that of the Klingons. “Welcome aboard, Ensign.”
