Turning to Trainior she said “..How’s our check of the computer systems going?” she asked.
Trainor who just got finished running the system check found nothing amiss that the diagnostics could tell.

Tenzing shook his head. ” I’m not finding anything abnormal so there might not be a virus in the station if it didn’t affect us.” The Operations Chief was slightly skeptical of the Engineer’s abilities in fixing the station’s issues.

”..Well that’s some good news, try to begin a detailed scan of the area and station, across the spectrum. See if anything odd shows up..” She said to Trainor.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if something did show up…” Trainor replied as he began the scans. Tenzing was a little weary about Shaden, but it could have just been his personality or his annoyance with Starfleet.

Scans of the station came back in the green mostly except for two areas. One was near where Shaden had sent his comm call in the station’s main engineering room near the singularity core. The other was up on deck 15 near the station’s science labs. In both cases those areas failed to get a clear scan due to interference of a dampening field.

“I’m not surprised about Shaden’s reaction to our help now, Captain,” Trainor announced as he sent the data he collected of the station to the Captain’s armrest. “We’re looking at two possible dampening fields with one near Shaden and the other on station deck 15.” The Operations Chief tried to see what objects or equipment were near the two dampening fields, so maybe he could hypothesize what was being hidden.
