Mazi’s search along the junction line took her down the length of deck 32 to a dead end where another junction box lay blown open. This one had thick cabling leading up and down, which from the power draw showed it was going up. A crawl space nearby would let her continue her travel if she wanted up through the decks....

Mazi growled. “What is all the stars?” She shook her head, set the box’s covering against the wall and opened the hatch to the crawl space as she tapped her comm. =^=Allendor to Miz’uki, I’m at the end of the hall on deck 32, power surge tracking leads up. Heading to Deck 31. Out…=^= Slinging her bag over her shoulder and holding the extra tool kit the best she could, she worked her way up to 31 and tried to find the next sign of the surge.

Mazi’s climb took her up through the service crawl space of the station. Along the way she passed several more blown relays and the like. Eventually she came to deck 15 where the science labs were. Here the lights flickered on the deck erratically casting the place into a somewhat spooky hue of darkness. The life support systems were also on the off and on fritz as a smokey hue from past relay fuses blowing was also still present.
