Zenneth slowly walked around the new bridge and considered. He hadn’t really had time to adjust to the old Asimov so this really didn’t feel like it did for the others of the crew who stayed. It wasn’t a bitter sweet gain that came at a hefty price he found that to be somewhat alienating.As he finished his pacing and sat down onto the chair he rubbed the palms of his hands on his trousers. Perhaps this ship would last longer than the first for him. If not, he should probably see about getting reassigned to planetary duty for everyone’s safety.

XONatalie was not far behind her first officer stepping onto the Bridge of the newly commissioned Asimov. She had worked on a Brazen class early in her career and preferred the smaller ship. She looked around and took in every detail. She stood still and felt the thrum of the idleing engines under her feet. It would take her some time to get used to the new feel of the engines, but it would become second nature quickly. She looked over at Zen “Commander, what do you think of our new home?” She asked stepping over to the center seat.

Zen looked over at Natalie and grinned. “Hopefully this one will last more than thirty minutes.” He joked. “I would assume a three shift rota would suffice however I am happy to set up whatever you feel is most prudent.”

XONatalie laughed “Well that would be nice…45 minutes would be amazing.” She said joking as well “I am hoping that we can make some history on this ship. Like we did previously.” She said taking her seat. “Have we recalled all crew?” She asked as she thought about Zen’s question “Three shift rota is good.” She looked over at the comms officer “Open a channel, station wide.” She ordered =^=Attention all hands of the USS Asimov. Report to the ship by 1800 hours. Repeat All hands of the USS Asimov you must report to the ship by 1800 hours today.=^= She said and closed the comms link.
“It’s my understanding that we’ve picked up some new crew here at the station. Is that correct, Zen?”

Kaida nodded. “Yes ma’am.” He said and seemingly procured a PaDD from nowhere to hand to her. “This is a list of all new crew blaring the ship and those staying with a summary of their record transcripts. All hands should be on board for your allotted time.”
“Incoming message from Starfleet Command, Captain. Message reads, proceed with shakedown of new ship, you have 3 days,” said the NE at Ops.

“Understood Ensign. Double check to make sure all crew are aboard and accounted for Zen and let’s get this show on the road.” Natalie ordered.CO
Zen nodded at Natalie from his post. =^= All department heads confirm crew count. Proceed with department drills as we clear the starbase. Stand by for further orders. Engineering we await your green light.=^=
=/\=We’re showing green down here, Commander, but we won’t know for sure until we’re under our own power,=/\= Jon said, voice wavering and clearly full of nerves.
“All crew accounted for, Captain. Releasing docking clamps… Starbase has cleared us. Clearing the Starbase, ready to test systems on Engineering’s say so,” said NE.

Nodding at Natalie he waited, red eyes fixed pointedly on the screen and hands clenching and unclenching slightly. It was stupid but part of him was worried that the ship would explode again.
