There was a banging at the door of the turbolift door.

Natalie waved Zen off “Take care of the helmsman and the operations officer first. They are actively bleeding. ” She said as she limped over to the communications station and began trying to get at least comms operations. Looking up briefly “Everyone that is able arm yourselves just in case.” She ordered, while in pain, she was focused on keeping the crew safe and getting the wounded treated as quickly as possible.

The banging at the turbolift door got louder, followed by a voice, “Hey! Someone open this damn door!”

Her mind flitted quickly to the Admiral from the previous mission and swore under her breath if that woman had anything to do with this, she was going to murder her. (OOC: What does she find at the communications station?)

Years of Engineering experience told Natalie there was no power to the consoles. She also found nothing unusual with the console. No sabotage or anything to indicate any tampering. As far as she could tell, the console was brand new… it even had the brand new smell. Well, brand new-ish… aside from the fact it wasn’t working at all. An engineer’s intuition told her judging from the previous events, there was probably no power anywhere to the ship… if they were lucky. Even if the console was restored with a backup power device, if the computer was offline, the system would be inoperable. The only place Natalie would be able to do anything was Engineering, 5 decks below them.

Keegan slowly arises from the deck. “Wha…what happened?”

Murphy, second officer

Rebecca slowly stood up, she touched the top her head and found she was bleeding. Swearing under her breath she walked over to the second officer “We hit a planet.” she said she looked around the bridge. She couldn’t help but wonder if wrecking the ship was going to be a common thing. She hadn’t been on the crew for log at it looked like the crew had gotten through two ships already.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

The banging on the turbolift door continued. “I’m from Engineering! Someone open this turbolift door!” shouted the voice from the other side of the turbolift door.

Natalie looked up “Get the door open.” She ordered as she continued to work on the comms station trying to get at least that up and running again.

Zen with the help of NE Nesbit managed to finally open the door. He scowled at the person on the other side. “No matter if you were from engineering or the Ferengi alliance or how much your banged on the door if we were all killed up here as the case may have been no one would have been able to open the door for you.” He told the Engineer and stepped back to let them onto the bridge.

“The tricorder would have indicated otherwise, sir,” replied Crewman Michaels, holding up the tricorder for the Commander to indicate, “But the controls were jammed from the other side.”

It was fortunate that she had been Chief Engineer aboard the Asimov for so many years before she became Captain. “If you’re bleeding, see the First Officer and get treated as much as possible. Once you are half way decent, we will need to start assessing damage to the ship and other crew.” She said “Murphy, I need you to see if you can get external sensors back on line.” She ordered “Work with Commander Solit and see what you can do.” She continued.

“Aye Sir” Keegan walked over to the Commander. “Commander what do we need to get the external sensors back online?”

Murphy, Second Officer

“Captain! Crewman Michaels, from Engineering. Main power is offline, we only have one fusion generator available which seem to be at powering the life support systems, computer systems are offline, the EPS system seems to be fried, and most of the systems are offline as well. We haven’t had time to assess the damage to the EPS system, unfortunately. Emergency lights are running off of battery backup.” Michaels watch the Captain tinker with the comms console. “Um, ma’am, I don’t believe with power this low, internal communications is going to come online anytime soon. Assuming if there is no interference that is disabling the comm system, of course… which probably explains why local communications is not working at the moment.”

GM

Zen had returned to treating those injuries he could with the limitations of the medkit. “We should try and get to engineering and get more power to the comms and sensors. Then try and regroup and get an idea of where we are and how we fix this.”
