Darkness. Natalie had just handed over his command and made her way out of the shuttle bay when no sooner the ship hit the anomaly, got struck by lightning and crashed. Simon had no idea how long he was out for, but now there was no power. “Well, talk about being thrown into the deep end,” Simon said through gritted teeth. Looking down, he could see he was pinned by the wardrobe that the storm had shaken loose. “Just great,” he sighed. Right now, he couldn’t move, and he had no idea how long he had been trapped. He tapped his commbadge to hear the response of no connection. The lights were off, the door was sealed, and he couldn’t do anything except hope.

Simon thought he heard banging on the door. “Captain! Captain! Are you alright? The door is jammed, we can’t open it! Someone has gone to get the Chief Engineer, sir!”

GM

Simon could hear the banging and gave a groan. “A bit stuck, but I’d definitely appreciate getting out of here,” Starr’s voice came from the other side of the door as strongly as he could muster. There was obvious pain behind the words as if said through gritted teeth.

Just then Riker appeared with his tool kit.

Looking at everyone present he said,

“Excuse me....let me try that door.”

After everyone moved, MacMoragh aimed the cutting tool and started using it on the door.

The cutting tool successfully cut through the door, but it took a half hour to do it. MacMoragh was able to gain entrance to the Captain’s quarters.

MacMoragh’s team of NE engineers was able to remove the heavy wardrobe off the pinned Captain. “We shouldn’t move the Captain until someone from Sickbay gets here.”

At the moment, someone from sickbay showed up.

OOC: Melissa, if you want to play a Medical NE here, please feel free to do so…

IC:

A medical tricorder scan of the Captain showed some broken ribs and bones due to from being crushed from the wardrobe. Fortunately, there was no internal bleeding, and most of the injuries could be healed using a bone regenerator. The ribs could be healed completely, as it would be necessary to do so, but other broken bones would require a more manual treatment to conserve power for the bone regenerator units. (OOC: I’m leaving it up to Ben to decide if he wants a broken arm or a broken leg or both.)

GM

As the wardrobe was lifted off, another jolt of pain went through Simon’s leg. As he tried to move, however, the leg just didn’t come up with him. He let the doctor do his thing, but with his leg out of action, getting to sickbay on his own ‘two feet’ wasn’t going to be easy. With a grunt, he shifted himself into a more stable position now that he was free from the wardrobe crushing down on his leg. “I need painkillers and a report, what happened?” he asked MacMoragh. “The last thing I remember is getting a bit too close to that anomaly,” he said.
