“I am in no hurry, Commander. I feel more pain when I move regardless,” replied Jevej.

=/\= Idari to Asimov. Could you dispatch an anti-gravity stretcher and some crew? There’s a survivor from the shuttle crash, and we can fashion a way to move him, but it would probably be safer to use as much tech as we have available. =/\=

(Commander Idari, CSO)

=/\= Ensign Praesidio, here, Commander. I’ll inform someone in Sickbay and have two security officers enroute to you immediately. =/\=

Two nurses, and two security officers arrived with an anti-gravity stretcher. They stopped the bleeding on Jevek and put him on the stretcher, then carried him back to the ship.

Jevek arrived in sickbay. Some temporary care was done to stop the bleeding, but he required more medical attention for the injuries he received from the shuttle crash.

Alana had been running ragged since Amber had left and left her in charge. She had gathered the nurses and after a couple hours had managed to get sickbay somewhat operational. As Jevek came in, she finished up with the Lieutenant whose broken arm was now splinted and then turned as one of the nurses informed her of the Commander’s arrival.

She came over and smiled, “Forgive me, Sir. We’ll get you patched up best we can.” Slowly the young Lieutenant JG pulled back the makeshift dressing to see how bad the injury was, a soft hiss slipping from her lips as she tried not to hurt him more and keep the bleeding from overwhelming them both as well. “I’m Meyers, Alana Meyers. I don’t recognize you from the ship. Were you new on the last rotation?” To see such a high ranking officer before her that she didn’t know was a bit off putting. She thought she was familiar with everyone on the Command staff.

“Recently assigned,” replied Jevek, as he forced the words out, “Involved in shuttle crash.”
