“Take a seat on a biobed,” said Senek, leading Calloway to one of them. As she did, she pulled up the Commander’s records on a PaDD and quickly read through the medical information. And, as Calloway had suspected, an eyebrow of Senek’s was indeed quirked. “An extensive medical history. Any particular concerns? Any recent illnesses or injuries that aren’t in your file?” Senek asked, though she would be surprised if there was anything. The file was quite detailed, save for anything she lacked the clearance to read. But all the injuries and illnesses were detailed to her.

Shara hopped up easily bracing her hands on the biobed. “Nothing new, though my PTSD is more… active lately and the counsellor and I discussed that maybe my medication needs to be adjusted. And as a part of those symptoms, I’m not sleeping well.” She could feel it in her body so she could imagine how that was going to show up on her scans.

“Any changes made by the counselor they will record. I’m sure the counselor is also working with you on your sleep troubles, though I can give you a sleep aid if you wish?” Senek said. She picked up a tricorder, taking the little scanner piece, and said, “And I’ll do your scans.”

“I don’t know,” Shara said quietly. “I never liked taking sedatives. I think it comes with being an Intelligence officer. Really hard to take something and know you are less than functional if you suddenly need to be. It would make me more anxious about sleeping and the last thing I need to be is stuck within a night terror and unable to wake.”

As she scanned Shara, Senek would note the definite signs of fatigue, but it was not at detrimental levels. Otherwise, the sixty-five year old was in excellent health and peak physical condition that rivalled those twenty years her junior.
