Madison arrived outside of Commander Enai’s office as she had scheduled a meeting with her to introduce herself and get to know her new Executive Officer. She arrived early and stopped herself from pressing the chime after she realize that fact. Instead, she unclipped her PADD from her belt and conducted some quick research on Commander Enai to hopefully gain some insight prior to shaking hands in a few minutes.Madison’s ocean blue eyes scanned over Enai’s personnel file as she thought, ‘Hmmm, she is a mixture of Trill and Betazoid. That is like Brenna with multiple lifetimes worth of experience. Wait, let me see if she is a joined Trill. That would actually be amazing to meet one in the flesh.’
She scrolled down and read over the information available at a quick pace. After finding the answer to her question Madison thought, ‘Darn she is just a normal Trill with telepathy. I am sure she will be great just the way she is though. I just have to watch my thoughts around her just like I always do around Brenna. It is a wonderful advantage that I have previous training in that particular arena.’
Madison’s older brother Richard has a girl friend named Brenna who serves as the Second Officer aboard the USS Constellation and happened to be a Betazoid. She loved Brenna to death, but early on found herself being called out on her various thoughts regardless of whether they were negative or positive. Brenna would provide her with constructive feedback regardless and without hesitation. It was a neat ability to have, but it kept her on her toes constantly in the thought department. As the time finally came, Madison pressed the chime on the office door to signal she was ready to come in for her meeting.

Almost instantly a voice from the other side of the door called, “Enter.”
Madison would find herself in an office that - at least furniture-wise - looked like a very standard office. The wall facing the door held a row of windows and underneath stood a small, l-shaped couch and glass coffee table; with the second half of the couch against the left hand wall. On the right hand side stood the desk, facing into the room with one chair for the Commander and two for visitors. In the left hand corner, next to the door, stood a small book case filled mostly with books, but also with some mementos and photographs. There were also two large photographs on the walls. On the right hand side was a mountain scenery and the wall on the left was shot taken on a beach at sunset. On the coffee table stood a small vase with a couple of lilies in it and on the desk, apart from a neat stack of PaDD, stood a tea cup and a picture frame on her desk that opened like a book. One half held an image of Liara in a ballet outfit and the other held one of Kaileni and a very pregnant Siadra. The other noticeable “thing” in the room was the young girl sitting on the floor between the couch and the coffee table. Her face was hidden by her wild mane of dark curls as she was bend over a PaDD in her hand, headphones covering her ears.
Rising to her feet, Siadra greeted Madison with a warm smile. Gesturing towards the two chairs in front of her desk, she said, “Welcome aboard the USS Asimov Lieutenant Commander Marsh. Can I get you anything from the replicator?”
