OOC: Just thought i’d keep this separate so it doesn’t get lost or make the Main sim thread to long and confusing for people.

IC: Rebecca looked at Lillian Great now I’m baby sitting she thought to herself “Alright kid come on” she said cocking her rifle. She always loved the sound of the ammunition going into the chamber.

Lillian nodded to the Lieutenant and fell in to step with her as she cocked her rifle which was a bit odd sound that one did not hear that often.

She then started walking. She would walk for half an hour the complete a circle. that should give her a good idea of the size of the island. Rebecca wanted to look for some high ground as well. “You do know how to use that right?” she asked Lillian indicating to the phaser.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

“Yes sir My last trip did not go a smooth as the One might have liked” Lillian said as she remembered the plant thing attaching her crew and academy mates.
“I was also resided on starships all my life and not that unused to crash landing either, not my first crash is it yours first ?”
Lillian tried to start a conversation as they walked while keeping her eyes studying the near distance for threats. Lillian had her rifle at the ready

Rebecca shook her head “No Kid it’s not my first. But i don’t make a habit of it” she said as she walked scanning for any landmarks or useful places, like water sources or food that might be edible “However I’m usually the one causing ships to crash, Of course i was getting paid to do it then.” she said a slight smirk on her face.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

They encountered a spring. Apparently, the path was well traveled. And footprints lead back to the Ferengi’s vessel, which showed that the Ferengi and his wife used this spring as a water source for the last month or so since they have been here. Tracks also lead toward the ocean from the spring.

GM

Rebecca followed the tracks to the spring and took out a note pad and pen form her pocket. she scribbled down a few things then put ti back. she then turned and found the nearest tree, before taking out her knife and carving a rough water drop into he tree “If we make a land mark we can easily find the spring. which will be essential for survival we can’t get the replicator working.” she said explaining what she was doing just in case Lillian wasn’t sure.

She then looked at the track heading for the ocean “Tracks head this way. Lets follow them” she said as she started walking.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

Upon this ruby red sand that was mixed with patches of primrose, the alien ocean was in shades of blue and green as the waves washed upon the shore. The sand gave off a sweltering heat, which had been baked by the hot and humid weather. The ruby red sand was likely the same material that blocked the subspace transmissions, but it did gradually blend into a more traditional primrose color at the water’s edge, which could mean that the subspace communicators could work if someone was standing in the ocean. In the distance, they found two little makeshift chairs and makeshift canopy for the shade. They could see a fishing rod that was made by the Ferengi couple, piled next to one of the chairs. Given the worn path and the chairs, Lane could logically guess the couple were here for quite some time. It was obvious the Ferengi couple had made a survivable life here, such as it was. Lane also spotted a leaf that was rolled up in a way that looked like a spy lens. At the end of the leaf was a piece of broken plastic that was purposely bent in a lens shape.

In the far off distance, Lane could swear she could spot land. Perhaps another continent or the mainland to this island. If she had sharp eyes, she could see smoke in the far off distance… but if she didn’t, she would have to use the spy glass to assist her. If she had any telepathic or empathy abilities, she could sense other beings in the far off distance, if her powers worked at a considerable range.

GM

Rebecca noticed the land and the smoke she grabbed the spy glass and looked down it at the land mass. The scope on her rifle wasn’t powerful enough to reach that far. If it was she would have used it instead of the spyglass. After all a ferengi had touched it and you never knew what you could catch off a ferengi. Rebecca hated them, she often enjoyed the jobs where she got to kill one more than any other.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

Natalie finally saw Lane and walked over “Report Lieutenant?” She said noticing the smoke

CO

Lane could see a midsize Medieval looking town, full of humanoids of various sizes, shapes, and variations of anatomy. The smoke came from various shops, a blacksmith, a restaurant, and others. Given the various types of humanoids, any of crew member would simply pass off as normal. Even a Ferengi.

GM

“A settlement over there” she said gesturing to the smoke and handing the Captain the spy glass “It look medieval in design. Either they are not very advanced or they are and prefer to live a more basic life style. Either way there are numerous different types of humanoids over there.” Rebbeca said “However it would be safe to say they probably noticed us crashing to the surface. we might have a some company. On the plus side of we waned to head over there and get a better look. Almost all of us would blend in.” she added.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

Through the spy lens, Lane saw something unusual. She thought her mind was playing tricks on her. There was a man dressed like a wizard, carrying a staff, and manage to create lightning from his finger tips to light a flame. She could spot a harbor in the settlement, but the only ship was small, and unlikely to make the journey to the island they were on. If the settlement did intend to explore the island after their ship crashed, there was no indication they intended to.

GM

Natalie took the spy glass and looked through it “Well, that is interesting.” The Captain said as she watched the wizard looking man “Medieval seems to be the theme of the day.” She agreed “Get a three man team and do some recon to that area. Don’t make contact, see what we are dealing with and report back in two hours.” Natalie ordered “I’m going to return to the ship and see what is going on inside.” She said “Be careful.”

CO

Lillian Had been mostly quiet on the track passed the spring and on to the beach, she had been making careful mental notes of all the the areas and things that could be of use for a prolonged stay on this rock.
She watch as the captain and LT lane look in to the spy glass and the distance settlement.
Great she thought now i have to recon a medieval place she hope they did get seen or mistaken for demons or some such nonsense.
” Yes sir” Lillian replied to the captain order to recon the village and began trying to work out the best way to get over then with out being seen.
“Any ideas on getting to the segment for here with out being seen LT ” Lillian asked

OOC

Rebecca looked at Liltih “We could always swim” she said sarcastically as she surveyed the beach “We need access to a boat or the ships transporters. I doubt the transporters would work so for now we’ll head down the beach and see if we can find anything sea worthy if not we might have to try and build a boat.” she said added after a short pause and she then started walking down the beach.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

Lillian looked down to the beach and decided that it was unlikely that the Transporter would work after a crash so…
“Ok then to the beach then”
Lillian hated sandy beaches she hope it was a rock beach but if her luck was anything to go on it would be sand.
“I can swim but it would depend on the water tempter and if there any wild life in there”
Lillian began slowly making here way to the coast line.

Lillian Anderson Security

There wasn’t any particular driftwood to be found on the beach unfortunately. However, the ship did crash land into a jungle. Some of the trees impacted by the ship’s landing might be useable.

GM

“Well the beach is a bust. How can a beach have no drift wood” she said as she headed for the jungle “Hopefully we can use the tress to make some form of something. You never know If we’re lucky the ship might have cut down just the right number of tress when to crashed” she added.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

Lillian did know a lot about beaches unless you count risa but anyway
“So That a bit of a bust. we may need to head back to the ship and see what we can turn into a boat. I mean i know the cargo containers float. don’t as me how I Know i Just do” Lillian didn’t want to go in to the water landing she been thro.
“How good of a swimmer are you ?”
Lillian had made it a point to turn to swim after that water landing she wasn’t going to talk about.

Lillian Anderson security

“They do but i was thinking more of a raft. It’s quiet so good for sneaking in and out.” Rebbeca said as she walked “We might want t change out of our uniforms before we get there. One less way to stick out. As for my swimming i’m very good. I’ve had to swim out of a sinking star ship before.” She added leaving out the part that she had caused the ship to crash, it was her job. She couldn’t remember hoe many crew she had killed, but she remembered it wasn’t enough she had to clean up afterwards.

Lieut Lane (Intelligence)

“Ok so we should head back to the ship, get changed and get a boat if we can or a cargo container” she made a half smile as if to say she was making a joke. Lillian turned and started walking toward the crash site to get all the equipment they need.
“I am thinking some thing with out and engine just to be safe” Lillian turned to see if the Lieutenant was following her.

Lillian Anderson security

“Exactly, we want to get in, get out get on with it. without to much impact on the people we’re spying on.” Rebecca said as she followed Lillian

As they walked back to the ship, they noticed several knocked down trees that were in fairly good condition to use to build a raft. Dragging the logs to the shore was going to be a different problem, and likely requiring more help from other members of security… assuming they weren’t all injured.

GM

“We’ll need to get help building our raft. Its going to take a bit of time to get it built.” she said as she made a note of the damaged and broken trees “That is assuming there are any crew to help us, and their not all injured” she said after a short pause.

Lieut Lane (Intelligance)

An NE who was sent as a runner came up to Lt. Lane. “Captain wants you in the Conference Room, Lt. Lane,” said the NE, slightly out of breathe, “This higher gravity is a little hard to get use to.”
