“If I am right, and I know I am I am counting on your bluff and Huey laying down a good version of you as a Klingon to scare them back to the hells that sooner them!” The disturbing grin “I am counting on our Captain to recognize our IFF from our resent adventures.”

Bog, third rate gambler…

“You want me to pretend to be a Klingon?” She shrugged, “I’ve done harder impersonations.” She sits up in her chair and turns to look at Alfred, “It will look like I’m on a Klingon battle cruiser’s bridge, right? The effect is lost otherwise.” And then she sneers inwardly. Klingon battle armor for females is so disgustingly useless. “Is the Levi receiving all of this Alfred. We don’t need them thinking we are being attacked by all sides.” Reassured that Alfred had passed the information to Cobb and McReady, Casela nodded to Bog. “Let’s see if they buy the poker face.”
Lt. Synthi-er, CNS

As Casela pulled up hard, bring the shuttle up and backwards in a distinctive drop ship maneuver the little ship faded as a Klingon warbird appears to de-cloak. Engaging the warp drive for a matter of seconds she closed the gap from the shadow of the small planetoid to a little over five hundred kilometers aft of the supposed Breen ship.

The little ships ECM gear was transmitting a remarkable facsimile of a Klingon Scout as she re-enters real space.

On the Leviathan’s bridge for tho the warp signal doesn’t quite match of more interest is the fact the IFF is transmitting an audio signal. Soon after a visual hail is received CC to the Leviathan. A Klingon face, strongly resembling the senior counselor appears, as she spins her chair on the war bird’s bridge. Her second, a horribly scared warrior steady in addressing his duty targets the Breen ship’s bridge.

Bog dumps most of the available power to the forward shield emitters, the overclocked generators wine in protest as amber warning lights flash their warnings.

=^= Is this Imposter bothering you, Captain Cobb? I believe my crew would enjoy the target practice, and my cook claims Pakleds are a rare treat when slow roasted. But you must roast them alive! =^= The Toothy laugh booming across the bridge.

Captain Kazela…

A lifetime edging towards this very moment and, at the last, it had been revealed as no more than illusion. A trick of the light to cheat and humiliate this tired, ridiculous old fool. The dissolving of the Valkyrja into a Klingon warbird, accompanied with his counselor’s shift into a Klingon captain, would, under normal circumstances, have impressed him to no end. But the choke of denial around his throat was leaving little room for anything else. Tomorrow, he might find energy and composure sufficient to congratulate Bog for this admittedly marvelous display. But tonight, it took every ounce of strength within him to force words past his bitter lips.

=^= He is =^= he replied to the voice. =^= Finish him. =^=

  • Captain Zachariah Cobb

The comm was broadcast on an open channel. The Breen ship could clearly hear the conversation. =^=It is a good day for them to die!=^= Kazela said and in true Klingon fashion her laughter rang out. “Target their weapons and then we shall board and have a feast tonight!”

With weapons locked on and ready to fire suddenly the Breen ship hailed the Leviathan. The Pakleds had no desire to become dinner to blood thirsty Klingons that day. =^=You will let us surrender and save us from the Klingons?=^= A very rotund and youngish looking Pakled appeared on the screen. Looking very much like he might be sick. The automated warning system of the ship informing them of the weapons that were about to be released from the klingon vessel.
Kazela, Warbird Captain

Pakleds! And children, at that! Cobb was of a mind to blow them out of the sky himself for what they’d just put him through! But the fear on the young one’s face was all too real. He could only imagine what Synthi-er might say if he failed to help a child in need. Still, they deserved to be taught a lesson, if nothing else.

=^= Surrender? =^= he replied, raising an eyebrow. =^= Surely you know that there is nothing a Klingon hates more than a coward who will not stand up for themselves? And I would hate to deny them of such a heroic victory. I mean, it is not every day one gets to take down the Breen. =^=

Cobb shook his head. =^= Still, as a Federation Starship I do have a duty of protection for other. =^=

Tapping a button on his chair, Cobb summoned the Valkyrja.
=^= Captain Kazela, your warbird is the superior vessel in this conflict. There is no victory to be found in vanquishing one so much weaker than yourself. Stand down and allow them to surrender. What you do with them after that…well, that is up to you. =^=

  • Captain Zachariah Cobb

Casela would never actually harm a child, but that didn’t mean that she wouldn’t scare the life out of them to stop them from ever doing something so stupid again. The female Klingon sneered. =^=There is no honor in defeating children.” She sneered and spat on the ground. “And we do not take prisoners. We came to the aid of our most honorable allies. If you wish to accept their surrender I shall bow to your preference, other wise we shall blow their ship to Gre’Thor (OOC: where the dishonored go when they die) and feast on Pakled tonight! Perhaps after they are aboard your ship we could still enjoy the fireworks over Blood wine.=^= It was a subtle but obvious to Cobb, indication of a solution to the problem and Cobb’s distress.

Casela turned to Bog, “Children, they’re children? How and where did they find a Breen ship?”
Lt Synthi-er/ Cpt Kazela

“In our line of work, Counselor I have learned not to ask how.”

Bog.

Our line of work Bog? You’re an engineer.” She turned that penetrating glaze on him. “What did you do BEFORE you were a star fleet engineer?” And in all honesty she was mad at herself, she should already know. But she hadn’t had the time or the resources to invest in back stopping every member of the crew yet. She was letting things slip and that just was not acceptable.
Lt Synthi-er, CNS

“ Live asset retrieval, Counselor. But one must admit even an engineer sees some ‘interesting’ things when it’s his ships mission to retrieve anomalies.” The dry Tellarite chuckle sounded more like a cough.
