Having finished with the captain Theodore made his way next to his quarters to drop off his scant belongings then towards Sickbay. He entered quietly and stood for a moment watching the comings and goings of those on duty. It had been a long time since he had been in a starships sickbay, he could remember back to the first one onboard the Phoenix. That seemed so long ago now…a different life time ago almost.Patiently he waited for someone to acknowledge him.
Knox
The first people to acknowledge Doctor Knox were the on duty nurses who were all standing against the wall in their heavy lab coats and ridiculous looking goggles. Not one of them was doing a thing except making sure to stay out of the way of the one that was actually working in the Sickbay labs, Doctor Fey, and Doctor Fey, and Doctor Fey, and Doctor Fey, and Doctor- it was clear that something strange was going on for there were no less than ten of the same person working with keen precision around the sickbay. “Sorry Sir, we tried to let her know you were on the way, but the Doctor is…well occupied.” The human nurse, Chief Hammonds, was the recorded head nurse for the ship and a a few lower ranked nurses that were supposed to be helping off to the side to stay out of the Outgoing CMO’s way.
- Doctor Fey is busy, have some Chief Hammond instead.
Is that not one of the most interesting things we’ve ever seen., perhaps we will get to dissect one.... The voice inside his head asked as he watched the woman and her doppelganger’s work.
”Indeed.” Theodore said out loud. ”Well not to worry, I didn’t call down to alert anyone of my arrival so my fault and my apologies.” he said smoothly and seemed content to stand and watch a while.
Some minutes later he asked Hammonds. ”Which is the Prime Doctor as it were?”
