For a time, Cobb simply stared at the Counselor, as if in disbelief that she would voice such a foolhardy endeavour out loud. But presently a smile began to creep across his lips and, his eyes shifting to a nearly terminal and the image of the massive Breen vessel anchored to their own, he emitted an almost joyous roar.

“Then what are we waiting for? Heavens know what technological treasures may lay in wait for us on that accursed vessel! Come, let us and any more who wish to join, suit up. It is time to explore!”

Captain Zachariah Cobb

Cobb gave permission! Casela turned away from him and stepped back into the shuttle to shut it down. She and Bog could come back later and determine how badly she was hurt. “Alfred, shut down for now.” The butler bowed as Casela rolled her eyes and then the shuttle went dark. Action, it was exactly what he needed and the roar emitting from his soul was a joyous thing to hear. Casela sent out an all call for anyone who wanted to come pilfer the Breen ship. “Transporter room 5 is waiting for us.” She looked at Bog, “You coming?” She moved over to a supply locker and came back with a basic engineers tool kit and handed it to Zachariah. “For whatever war trophies you want to take with you.” She moved over to the door waiting for them. She wanted to go while the idea of picking and ravaging the ship brought Joy to Cobb.

The knowing smile and humor at the Counselors naivety in his mind competed with his excitement about boarding the Breen ship. “Then why are you two standing around? I am not going to wait around all day!”
Bog

“Oh, please do wait for me, Mr. Bog!” As if on cue, the diminutive engineer rounded the corner, lugging a tool bag and breathing heavily. “I came as quickly as I was able upon hearing about the Breen ship; I’ve not had the opportunity to interact with their technology at all; and I thought it’d be a wonderful learning experience.”

Crewman Durheim

Twenty-one years. 662,256,000 seconds. And each one another weight come to bear upon Zachariah Cobb. But as time’s hourglass had drained, so too had the obsession for revenge against his Dominion nemesis. Until he had grown comfortable with the fantasy of complete annihilation of the Breen, total eradication from the Alpha and Beta quadrants as if they had never existed at all beyond the nightmares of his own, fractured mind.

But the appearance of this vessel had destroyed every atom of that diligently-crafted calm. For while it stood hollow and emptied of its former crew, still its existence demanded that he shed these comfortable deceptions and face off once again with the truth. The Breen had survived. And with them the threat of Cobb’s utter annihilation.

Entering the transporter room in the wake of his crew, the Leviathan’s captain cut an anxious figure. No acknowledgement given to the others on the pad, although for sure he had noted and offered silent thanks for each one in turn. Instead, his gaze remained forward as he stepped onto the platform and shuffled into place at the head of the group, hands clenched into white-knuckled fists by his side, breathing measured and controlled, yet on every exhale the threat of impending, barbarian chaos.

“Let’s do this,” he barked, before offering a single nod to the transporter chief, then closing his eyes and waiting for the oblivion of a confinement beam to swallow him whole.

Casela and Quinn had gotten pretty good at communicating telepathically. But the distance was a bit much, so while she was waiting for everyone to get situated she used the LCARS interface to quietly and privately send a message to Quinn. Might want to have the captain’s favorite drink ready, and some of those pastries he loves. And just in case, be ready to come over to the Breen ship with them.

Casela stepped up onto the pad waiting the other members of this crazy expedition. Bog and Durheim were eager to pilfer. Cobb had too a moment ago. She was sure thought with Bog and Durheim along he’d get into the spirit of the party. But she was there to make sure…how had Bog put it?…grabbed his daemons by the horns and make them do his bidding. Cobb had shown her she needed to do the same, and she would do no less than walk beside him along this precipice to ensure that he succeeded.

The blue light engulfed them and then they appeared on the ship and Casela took a good long look around.
