There was a planet, not so long time discovered, where tales of Task Force 5 crew were being told, by awesome and extraordinary adventures to little relax heavens holidays treks. And so, as the ARU was advised of such Minshara Class planet, not found in any of the star charts available, and its beautiful charm, the high council decided it was time to spend some effort to relieve the crews’ back pains and the long shift periods with a newly constructed resort, as per mandate it was not possible to go on holidays planets like Risa for their job’s dangerous nature.

The planet had a soft light blue hue, as seen from orbit, and two moons, Reshdar and Casktil, were the angels of the multicolored rock, which was nontheless tinier than Earth and bigger than Mars. From the far distance of a shuttle window, you could see on the north pole that there was this cold and blizardy weather landscape. TF-5 said that the north pole was amazing for skiing and all snowy sports, and indeed, for the lovers of such practices, ARU furnished some well suited installation that guaranteed many snow ball fights and speedy races through the pure white cold pudding. Yes pudding, because it was not only snow, but a really, really soft one that could still be compacted but was amazing for those who loved a comfortable bed at a really cheap price.
The north pole was divided in three regions: on the farthest sector from the L1 point, a mounty chain was there to hold guarded the perimeter of the sacred white land. Sector two, the adjacent one on the left, could be instead defined as a large plain with short hills scattered throughout the territory. Last but not least, the main facilities were put in the last sector, with a more temperate climate and steep natural ramps for the craziest who loves to risk their own bones.

But while the snow is elegant and trembling, for those who love some more warm environment, and the sea, there’s also a heaven for them in proximity of the equator. It is indeed to be imagined that the planet was shaped to have two main continents and many large and mid sized islands. One was layed mostly around the equatorial line, occupying some 15% of the whole planet surface, and the other connecting the north pole to the south and had more variety for the third kind of travelers.
Each continents had their pros and cons. The warmest one had also a little desert, not too large, but that allowed sand races competitions and tanning for the crew who loved such colored tail or chest. All around the desert, little paradises were still to be seen and perhaps each of those one had a couple hammocks and a restoration area to drink and refresh with all sort of beverages. Talking about beverages, there was a forest known by TF-5 to produce some sweet fruit with alcoholic properties. The forest with a purple and yellow tint was famous to be a temperate place, and many gorgeous waterfalls created a unique environment for the fauna living there. Each waterfall would have perhaps a little lake with light green colors and pristine water. The largest one was chosen to be the main hub of all the resorts scattered on the planet and included a sizeable Spa complex and also temporary cabins for the crew that stayed on ground for the time being. The lake, that was called from the first ARU personnels visiting “The Emerald Blade Lake” (as it resembled a blade with a greenish texture), had nontheless a cold but refreshing temperature and had on the northest peak a series of natural thermal pools. The mineral rich waters of such natural jacuzzi could benefit each one skin and health in general.
If someone wanted the beach, some of the islands had also some wooden hut and wooden boats to enjoy the salty blue pearl.

And how about Dave? he could not be missed. Remember the other continent? well, it was mostly adhibited to his own amusement park so that he could be left on the planet without the fear of a containment breach and risky and edgy situations.
What was left free of the land was assigned for the administration buildings and functioned as a forward outpost for the high admiralty of the ARU fleet.

Catia VI, this is the name of the planet, had no violent weather whatsover. No tempest (just light rain), not a single earthquake, eruptions or tornados. These particularities had raised many questions, and deep deep in the scientists hearts the planet was also an experimentation site. No mean of transportation with the transporter was viable, as a natural jamming signal was emitted by the planet, almost like it was an alive element itself. The only way to get down was a shuttle. All ships requesting a holiday there would park their cars behind the second moon and then make groups of 8/9 shuttles depart at a time from their hangar bays. And so, as it was the Leviathan’s turn they parked where the ships before it layed ground. Some hours after the first docking to the structure that was built there, the first shuttles raised the flag and departed for their journey.

Onboard the maiden one, Manhattan resumed the whole description in his head, as from a porthole he saw the beauty of the planet from a comfy chair. He felt like a child on a school trip, but it was not a school trip, it was his holiday with the whole crew of the Levi “Are you ready?” he smirked back to his companions. After the horrors lived aboard the ship, it was time to get a good tequila and do some snowmen for fun.

Are they as amazing as they sound” the three year old said. She held her amres up as if asking him to pick her up.
