“Well sir. Let’s see what the Lt has to say. Honestly as something to do with the game on the other side of the force field. Sir.” As the ensign has suggested.Ensign Hawkeye Logan
Surda held out a hand to Forricci, and he nodded vigorously. He turned to Carroll and began signing to her. *Play, people will.” She waved her leaves eagerly, pulling out a checkerboard. Forricci took out an identical board, and Surda moved to stand against the wall. “Which of you wants to lose to a flower?”
-Surda, CoSHawkeye then sat there watching the whole thing wondering what the anomaly was saying and then realized that Carroll is signing to it. And he then look surprised on how well she did it. He also just sat there in silence.
Ensign Hawkeye Logan
“No fan of checkers, Mr Logan?” the captain asked as he approached the game board. “I must admit, it’s been a few years since I played myself. But I’m willing to take the first game if nobody else is. Then once I am predictably defeated, perhaps you can step up and show us all how it’s done, eh, Ensign?” he winked at Hawkeye.
Then turning to Surda and Forricci, he added, “The game is standard checkers, I presume? Or does Carroll here have something far more exciting planned for us?”
- Captain Zachariah Cobb
“Yes sir. I’ll do what is needed sir.”
Hawkeye
Foricci grinned slightly. “Standard checkers sir. No surprises. I’ll be playing as Carroll’s intermediary.”
OOC: Interesting progression we have here… boardgames with the sentient flower…
-Surda, CoS/ ~LOoc: Agreed.
IC: As Hawkeye watched the captain play checkers with the anamoly.Hawkeye
Zachariah cracked his knuckles as a somewhat dramatic display of commencement, then sat down at the board in the position of the black-piece player. “Of all the things I thought this day might bring when I rose this morn, playing checkers with an anomaly was absolutely at the top of the list,” he chuckled, a brief distraction in an attempt to gain a strategic pause for some thinking.
“Okay, Carroll, I take the first move,” he nodded to the flower, before lifting the second piece in on the row nearest to the white pieces and moving it forward one diagonal space to the right.
