Theodore watched the girl that now sat on the floor in the corner of his office and started glowing lamp light eyes at him. She held her left arm close to her chest and her right hand wrapped around her left ankle. She hadn’t said anything but even from his location, standing in the doorway, he could tell that both were probably broken and the arm was sitting at a funny angle. The strange thing was not that the girl hissed loudly when he tried to approach, or really that on insisting she let him help her she had managed to throw some of his books around the room without moving. No those thing he could accept. The interesting thing was both the dark bruising around other neck and throat and also the fact that she had landed in his office by way of the ceiling.

He looked up at the very solid looking bulkhead as the computer filled his request to identify the girl he was now not sure was human. His eyes slid to the slightly smoking burnt looking tricorder he had tried to use on her.

=^= Identification complete.=^= the computer chimed happily. =^= Anomoly, Darwin level green. Known as Gen. File classified please contact Lieutenant Synthi-er immediately. =^=

Theodore smoked slightly and leaned against the closed door. “Well, well, well…so you are an anomaly. Facinating. And as there are no alarms blaring I assume you are permitted to walk freely amongst the crew.” he took a step forward and the girl shrunk back into the corner. “What ever shall we do with you.” he asked.

Gen watched the dark haired man, her vision slightly foggy. The pain from her ankle and arm was almost blinding. Hot tears crossed her cheeks as she tried to make herself as small as possible. She was confused and unsure of how she had gotten here…where was Fenrir, or Casela. She tried reaching out with her mind but the pain flared and she felt nausea welling up inside her so stopped.

She had been on deck 1…somewhere. Then it was like a nightmare had taken over she had seen the shadows, the darkness and them she was falling, falling through it…only to land…here.

The man was smirking at her, coming closer. Half heartedly she tried to push him away but only succeeded in knocking over something on his desk. The room was in disarray, as if a wind had ripped through it tossing the mans possessions around but he didn’t seem to mind. If anything he looked almost pleased with her reaction.

“Please…” she whispered through a sob. “Dont hurt me…”

“Hurt you?” the man asked with another smile. His voice growing fainter as the fog in her vision spread and all she could think and hear was static.

“Oh no, no no no.” Theodore continued watching as the girl seemed to pass out. “That wouldn’t do at all. Not with something as beautiful a specimen as you my dear.” he kneeled before her and pushing back her head clicked his fingers in front of her, receiving no response. Carefully he checked her pulse and the smile widened. “Hurt you… No, I don’t think so.” he said to no one then sighed as he considered the reputation and role he had on the ship. The girl was too high profile if she counsellor had named access privileges to her he would have to do this another way. He was thankful that the office door had been closed, this keeping this event contained for now.

Standing he left the girls slummped form in the corner and retreated to his post at the door. Fixing a tone of concern and mild shock in mind he cleared his throat and pressed his badge. =^= Knox to Lieutenant Synthi-e. I have a young girl in my office that the computer identified as Gen. She is injured and will not allow me to attend her, if you would be so kind as to assist me?=^=

Knox and Gen

Casela had been at the joint security/RTF training. She left immediately. Not much could hurt Gen. She reached out to her telepathically and could get no response, but she could feel the immense pain the girl was in. She started to job, moving quickly through the ship. The AARM combadge she kept clipped at her wrist raised to her mouth. “Fenrir, where are you?”

“I am moving towards Gen’s life signs in Alpha sickbay. We were on deck 1 and then she disappeared.” Casela cut the comm and moved faster. Fenrir was tasked with guarding Gen from anyone dumb enough within the crew to experiment on her, and if her powers should go haywire, protect the crew from her. She appeared moments later and looked at the medical crew, not seeing Gen or Knox. A single raised brow got every person in the room pointing at Knox’s office. The door was closed, and Casela did not like that. Knox was a scientist and an experimenter, and though he’d never given her reason to be worried, when it came to Gen she always worried. This was the ARU flag ship and Gen was anomalous. She pressed the chime to the office, trying to be patient.

Theodore, expression stoic almost clinical, turned his head from studying the girl and stepped away from the door slightly to the right to allow it to open. When it did He looked mildly frazzled and very concerned, the epitome of a good doctor who was trying his utmost to assist his would be patient.

Casela was a strong telepath and empath, and she’d cared with her whole heart for children before, she’d even shared the feelings of distressed parents, but feeling it for herself was something totally different. When the door opened she looked at Knox, briefly before moving towards Gen, huddled in the corner. She took in the way she was holding her arm across her chest and her other stabalizing her ankle. They looked broken, and she’d clearly passed out. She turned to look around the room. She’d noticed the disarray when she intered but now she took note of the finer details. The original location of the books, that were out of physical reach, and the blackened smoking tricorder.

Carefully trying to not scare the girl the doctor moved so to stand closer to the both.

Beta shift had not started that meant Ryder wasn’t on duty yet. =^=Synthi-er to Raauhl. Gen’s been hurt and is refusing medical attention. Can you come to sickbay?=^= Ryder had a calming effect on most people and that was true for Gen as well. In her pain induced confusion, Casela could use all the help she could get. Fenrir appeared in the door way and Casela motioned him out of the way but to stand by. “Gen, Gen sweetie,” she brushed her hair out of her face, careful not to jar her arm or leg.

She turned to Dr. Knox, finally, “Did she say anything?”
Lt. Synthi-er, CNS

Theodore watched the pair interact, interesting. And the XO was involved somehow was he…even more interesting but that definitely threw another spanner in the works. He ran a hand over his hair and looked worriedly at the girl then counsellor.

“She fell through the ceiling, crashed into the book case and gave me rather a scare I must say. However when I tried to see if she was alright she telekentically threw things around the room and hissed at me. If you can call that saying anything. When I opened a tricorder it shortened out in my hand, which was when the computer identified her and I was able to call you. Delirious from the pain no doubt, the poor girl then begged me not to hurt her.” he knew any security footage would show him behaving in the correct manner as he described. “I briefly checked her vitals manually when it seemed she had passed out.”

An NE had handed in another tricorder with a medical kit as the mechanical dog had backed away. Theo stood to move it to the side and pushed what was left on his desk carefully into the chair behind it. “I assume she would rather not go out into sick at proper right now. And I am disinclined to move her out there if that will cause more harm. However, If possible counsellor, would you be so kind as to assist me in moving her onto my desk so I can better assess her injuries. She fell rather hard and I would be surprised if the arm and leg are all that are injured. I dare say she gave her head a bit if a crack as well.”

Gen meanwhile gave a short moan and her eyes fluttered open she started at Casela. Her eyes were mildly glazed over and her forehead knitted as if she was disoriented. “Wha…” she asked then recognition dawned and she tried to move slightly, jostling her arm. Her eyes screwed up in pain and she instinctivly yelped and began to cry again.
