He experimentally prodded at the shoulder. “The potential opportunity is difficult to pass up. If I may be so bold as to ask, how much exactly do you remember? And will you allow me a closer examination of your scars?”

Her eye twitched, barely as he prodded at it. “For a scientist, doctor or not I can see the lure of the ARU.” She thought a moment. “After I escaped…mostly the pain, freezing and noises of the ships. I was mostly on automatic. I remember overriding the controls on the freighter when I realized we were near Centurion. Using my access codes for the transporter…” She was quiet for a moment. “After that, lights, voices, pain coming and going, hands…I remember a Vulcan trying to mind meld with me. I think I hurt him,and then another Betazoid. I do clearly remember one of my doctors telling me to breathe deeply over and over and berating me for thinking it was going to hurt.” She grinned slightly. “I don’t remember much really.” At his final question she nodded. If she was in his position she would want to know. She wouldn’t ask him why though. “Of course doctor.”

Theo frowned slightly. “Breathing is an important task if one wishes to continue one’s survival.“ he muttered and finished the bruise treatment. He stepped back slightly to observe her again and then waited for her to show him the rest of hr scars.

Casela removed her tunic and replacing it with a hospital gown. The scars extended from her shoulders to her upper thighs. It appeared at first glance that there was no inch of skin unmarred. Sitting up as she was and the doctor having just finished with her shoulder he would be able to examine the scars on her back.

Theo observed from a distance. His eyes moving over the scars in the clinical fashion of someone who recognises the repair work. He tsked in a way that could be construed as sympathy for the counsellor or disappointment in his handiwork. “Have you considered getting the scars repaired?” He asked as he took a step forward to examine some on the shoulders and back in more detail.
