The housing for the orb was heavy and cumbersome, the temporal activity within adding an extra layer of instability. But eventually, and with as much care as they could manage considering the urgency of the situation, Nakuto and Copper arrived at the Leviathan’s forward-firing torpedo bay. As Copper attempted to maneuver the orb and housing into position, Nakuto contacted the CIC.

At that very moment a large reverberation was felt throughout the ship. As if they had taken a direct hit.

=^=…we are in position. And it appears as if the orb is charging to fire. =^=

The orb did not destabilize the warhead, and could be fired at any time.

With a final, satisfying click, they were ready to fire. A wide grin spreading across her face, Nakuto inhaled deeply and then roared “qunqoncharghwl’pue’!” (History is written by the victors). Then with a slam of her palm against the controls, the warhead was away and speeding towards the emerging beast.
