Luna was currently setting up for Cerenitys birthday party in the Jörmungandr Lounge. She had gotten the captens permission the party would start in the lounge then later they would move to the holodeck for Lazer tag. Luna would remain behind to clean up the lounge and rejoin the group when it was clean.The decorations consisted of brightly colored balloons and a few bright streamers all kept at a safe distance from the captens fish. Luna a had pit a sine up to let the children know to keep the balloons away from the fish tank. She had pizza of several different varieties out as well as a birthday cake.
Now all that was left was for the gest to arrive and to go get Cerenity. The child was still unaware of the party. She had sent invites but really anyone who wanted to join was welcome.
Ensign LunaHaving heard about the birthday party, Jin’Lor and Jeane walked toward the lounge. As nervous as the teen was, he waltzed in ahead of his father and smiled at the sight before him. Waving to Luna, he said, “Hello, Miss Luna! Is this what a birthday is supposed to look like?” Lavender colored eyes looked around at everything, taking in each and every tiny detail. This was the first time in his life he had seen something like this.
” I think it is” Luna said quietly. There were still things that normal people did that she was unsure of.
Walking in behind him, Jin’Lor offered Luna a quick wave. “Hope we’re not too early. He was excited and couldn’t wait any longer to get here.” He explained.

Nakuto entered the room with her customary enthusiasm. She was wearing her usual black trousers and tank top, but on her head was a hat that might have been familiar to both Cerenity and Luna. Of polished metal and with a large, animal horn protruding from either side, for the occasion Kara had chosen to wrap the horns in bright coloured streamers that fell away to leave a continual trail of rainbow debris wherever she walked. In her arms she was carrying a large package, wrapped in white and silver striped paper with a large, red bow on the top.
Spotting Luna, she immediately made her way over.
“Where is the birthday girl?” she asked, before spotting both Jin’Lor and Jeane and offering them a respectful bow, as taught to her by her Japanese father.
“I do not believe we have met,” one powerful hand was extended to the scientist. “I am Kara Nakuto. A friend of both Luna and Cerenity’s from our previous assignment.”
