After his seemingly explosive tantrum, Casela had some plans of her own. She had returned to Leviathan to rest and then gather what she would need. She understood Lazol’s reasons and even his outburst. No one else did, but Casela did. There was a part of her that felt the same, that wanted to walk away. But for the same reasons Lazol could not stay, Casela had to stay.
She monitored his movements and his schedule. She wanted to be able to meet him in private, but not totally invade his privacy. She knew The 92 would be docking soon outside the gauntlet and Lazol would be gone. Casela was…sad. Lazol was her friend, oddly enough. They understood each other in ways others on board could not. She had one last favor to ask of him, and that one near broke her heart.
The next day she left Leviathan for the base right after Lazol. She made a few prudent stops before finding a place to sit outside the administrative wing and awaiting the end of Lazol’s meeting with Roebuck.
