Mwezi stood inside the Holodeck, his eyes wide as he glanced around at what surrounded him. It was very similar to the Mind Chamber, but instead of projecting the simulations telepathically, it did it through the use of hard light and holograms. Fascinating.The program he had active was one of the planet Earth, a northern boreal forest. It almost felt like home, he thought as he glanced around with curiosity. He could hear the bird calls and sounds of animals rustling about, and even though holograms couldn’t fool his nose into thinking the creatures were actually there, he almost felt like they were.
It was, indeed, very impressive. He sat down, almost in a meditative state as he just enjoyed the forest sounds.
Mwezi, Security
Hsull had left K’Haat in their quarters, she was resting after a big meal and playing with Cerenity. Hsull was thinking, “That cat is literally eating me out of house and home, how big will she get ?” He absent mindedly entered the holo deck, intending to exercise and meditate. Upon entering he found a large canid sitting with eyes nearly closed seemingly meditating. His nose told him this was no hologram, but an actual being. “I’m sorry to intrude. I should have checked to see if the space was occupied. I had my mind on other things.” Hsull looked around and saw the forest surrounding them, “Beautiful, isn’t it ?.... I’ll leave you alone and come back later, again sorry to intrude.”

Mwezi lifted his head, noting the Caitian with half-lidded eyes. This must be the individual Kula had mentioned. Overall his posture was one that seemed very relaxed and, well, meditative. “Afternoon,” he greeted, closing his eyes for a moment before blinking and getting to his feet. “You’re free to stay, this holographic forest is large enough for two - as long as you weren’t planning on doing a narrative program.”
“I am Mwezi, by the way. You’ve met my Ol’kap, Kula.”

Hsull nodded politely, “Thank you, I was planning on doing some exercises, but actually I’m feeling more meditative right now and need to center myself.” Hsull sat quietly a few feet away, placing his ever present cane beside his knee he began a series of breathing exercises. After a few minutes, feeling calmer, he stated. “Yes, I met Kula. I had just performed a bit of crude minor surgery on myself and she was concerned that I had injured myself. I didn’t get the chance to thank her for her concern, if you would tell her I would be grateful.” Hsull returned to the breathing exercise, inhaling through the nostrils and exhaling through the mouth, taking a deep breath each time. The forest was very peaceful and serene.
