Jahok stepped into sickbay, straight-backed and dressed in a crisp uniform. At first glance he came across as the stereotypical Klingon male: tall and bulky with a prominent forehead ridge and thick black hair tied back into a ponytail at the base of his neck. A longer examination would note the strong nose, defined chin and a proud bearing. He was on time for the appointment with the CMO scheduled ahead. Jahok had taken the liberty of forwarding his medical file from his last posting, the USS Zanzibar, to ensure the Leviathan would receive it prior to his arrival.A nurse came forward to guide him to his examination room to scan him quickly for vitals, anthropometrics and other baseline information. That done, she smiled, said the doctor would be with him soon and left him alone to wait. Jahok settled in, eyes closed to mentally replay his favorite operas to pass the time.

Cerenity had entered the room bringing along the scanners and things the CMO would need. ” Hi are you Klingon” the five-year-old asked? She was a little blond human with white and black spotted wings. Cerous blue eyes looked up at him. ” I’m cerenity I help in sickbay sometimes. She said as she went back to what she was doing.
CerenityAt the sound of a surprisingly young voice, Jahok opened his eyes to gaze down at a small girl with wings. “Greetings, Cerenity,” Jahok said, “Yes, I am a klingon.” He was almost certain Cerenity was a child, but did not wish to make any assumptions.
” Wow have you been to ummm… It’s Kronos right that’s the Klingon home world?” She asked. A bright curiosity danced behind her eyes. She was eager to learn and quite focused on Jahok now.
“It is. I have been to Kronos, I learned the ways of a klingon warrior and under took my Rite of Ascension there.” He was almost certainly talking to a child.
A man in a plague Doctor attire appeared behind the new COS.
“Well hello there Lt.Jahok please stand by as I upload your medical files”
The man pulled a book from his belt and started to write in it.
“Ok I have it now is there anything new you need to add to it. Like new allergies, New scars recent illness”
He said with a chilling tone.

Then another voice from directly behind him. Jahok did not flinch, but he twisted around so fast his unbound hair flew up. There was no conceivable way that this. . . doctor. . . was mortal. Jahok would have sensed it if someone attempted to approach him from behind. He should have heard footsteps, or felt the presence of a body. This. . . man. . . must be some kind of holoprogram. “No new medical information to report. My medical files from the Zanzibar are up to date.” Jahok’s tone was even, and betrayed none of his internal unease.

Cerenity smile. ” You must be a security officer like mommy. I bet you mike be able to match her in a fight” she chuckled.

“I am the new Chief of Security. I am certain your mother will be a formidable opponent.”
The doctor looked at cerenity “and you little one did you finish cleaning the test tubes” he asked with a caring tone. “Thank you Lt. You can start work tomorrow take time a learn your way around” he said looking back at the Lt.
Lt.ISAC EMH (ACMO)
“Ah. . . Thank you,” Jahok said, polite as always, even when speaking to a program. He quickly added, “I would like to schedule a check-up for my. . .” Jahok hesitated, uncertain how to describe his relation to Savoh. Legal guardian felt too formal. Father. . . too soon for that. “For my adopted son. His last check-up was over a year ago and he is over due for a physical examination.”
