Medical labs

Posted May 13, 2022, 1:53 p.m. by Lieutenant Commander Theodore Knox (Chief Medical Officer) (Calé Reilly)

As was the nature of most things Theodore chose to do he did them at night. It made little difference of course, on star ships the passing of day or night is a feature that few manage to maintain. The lack of a sun for example and the various duty shifts made it easy to adapt. But old habits die hard.

The work Theodore did this night was something he knew the more sensitive part of himself would not approve of in the slightest and so that part had been unfortunately repressed for their current endeavours. Not something he did lightly, and inevitably he would suffer for it when that part took back control but for now it was necessary.

He gave a small huff as the scanning sequence began its final stages and looked then at the unconscious form of the NE who had wandered into sickbay with a migraine a few hours earlier. When he woke his only memory would be of Theo giving him something for it and encouraging him to sleep the worst of it off.

That was the danger of those who worked at night. Sometimes they used the cover of darkness, imagined or not, for nefarious purposes.
