T’Mara glanced over the group of consoles her people had set up in the science conference room.“Are we reading Ensign Pryce’s tricorder?” she said.
“Yes, Ma’am,” the officer at the head of the table said. “Whatever he sees, we’ll see.”
“And his physical data?”
“Yes, Ma’am.”
“Very good,” T’Mara said. Much as she disliked the idea of risking junior officers confronting an anomaly like this one, at least they would have the data and the chance to pull him out of any danger. “Now there’s nothing to do but wait for them to reach the ship and start working.”

“Ma’am. Mr. Pryce is on the Celeste,” the officer monitoring the away team said.
“Where is he specifically?” T’Mara said
“On the bridge. He appears to be examining something or waiting for someone.”
“And his biometrics?”
“All within the normal range.”
T’Mara nodded. Her face was as impassive as one would expect for a Vulcan. Still, she could not shake the suspicion that there was more to the Celeste than a “simple” derelict ship. The probability that Pryce was in danger was not zero.
