Next on his to-do list, was reporting to the XO to officially report for duty and receive his duty assignment, along with required clearances to get to work. Of course, rather than barge onto the Bridge unannounced looking for the XO, the wonder of Technology allowed him to let his fingers do the walking.

Stepping up to one of the communications consoles on the wall, seeing as getting a comm-badge that was active on the Leviathans systems was part of this next check-in, he hit the comm button to open a channel.

=/\= Commander Vrenek this is Lieutenant Osedi. Are you available for me to report in, Commander? =/\=

A simple question, and hopefully the reply would include a where, seeing as the ships schematics didn’t include an Office for the XO. He pursed his lips in thought though as there was a CO’s hot tub listed. No XO’s office but the CO got a hot tub, like on a couple of other ships he knew about. Whoever designed those ships had a weird view on what was needed, he thought.

=/\=Meet me in the briefing room, Lieutenant.=/\= Jaieh indeed did not have an office, and when she needed one had to make use of the briefing room instead. If she ever met the designer of the Mjolnir-class, it would be best for the universal translator to be deactivated before she had words with them.

As it was, she had an array of PaDDs laid out across the table and seemed to be laboring over something somewhat taxing.

=/\= Aye Sir =/\= Came the quiet, clipped reply before the comm went dark. Than had already gone over the schematics for the ship while on the long trip out on the Broadsword, so had a fairly good idea of where it was without having to stop and check.

It wasn’t long before the doors to the briefing room opened and he stepped through. Coming to a stop on the other side, his eyes rested on the cluster of PaDDs indicating, to him, an annoying series of research or reports was in process. It was only a cursory glance, but then his eyes rose to find the Commander that he was to meet here.

“Commander, I am Lieutenant Than Osedi, reporting as required for duty.” As he spoke, he came to a relaxed at ease posture, hands held lightly behind his back.

Lt Osedi, CE

“Welcome aboard Lieutenant.” Jaieh gestured to the seats around the table. “Take a seat, any seat.” She gathered up the work around her into a tidy-ish pile, save for one PaDD. “Let’s see, Lieutenant Than Osedi. USS Discovery, USS Saracen, now here. Prior degree from the Yadal Tertiary Institute of Technology. Tell me about yourself. What’s not in this file?”
