Ladies, Gentlemen and Animals of the Manhattan …
In about 7-12 hours time, I shall be posting the next progression of the mission.
The prologue of the mission is here: https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/manhattan/notes/12454/ If you are a newish member of the crew … there’s no reason why you couldn’t be being ferried to the Manhattan on his vessel.
Following on from this, there are two sim related threads.
1 For DHs and above … you have a dinner to attend. This dinner has seen the arrival of the new captain and the local Talaxian leader discussing a mysterious ship seen by Nrom the Lurian Courier being attacked by a Hirogen vessel (Prologue - https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/manhattan/notes/12454/). By the time the dinner arrives, Nrom and ship and crew and supplies and passengers are at the Event Horizon, and the Hirogen vessel have limped in … demanding repairs. (https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/manhattan/notes/25307/) is my most recent post in that thread. At this time, there is an issue reported through the Event Horizon station in the grand opening party being held in Fat Sam’s Lounge, Bar and Grill. The Station XO is on the way to Fat Sam’s to check up on what’s happened, and has ‘asked’ Creed to join her.
2 For JOs … Fat Sam’s is the place to be. They are having their grand opening celebrations and JOs are requested to attend. Things seemed to be going well … and then they stopped going so well and the Durnit, the Cardassian Toy Boy of Dr Karla Reyes was badly injured, Karla didn’t have her medical tricorder with her and bemoaned that fact with much nashing of teeth and weeping, Faye Calloway showed off her skills at the ‘Vulcan Hello’ on the individual who did the injuring through acidic vomit and Kavox put out a call for Station Medical and Security to come to Fat Sam’s to deal with an incident. I would politely ‘suggest’ everyone’s characters make their way to either of those two threads, within the next 7 hours or so.
