Comp Science Lab 2- Post-Jefferies Tube

Posted April 13, 2019, 1:55 p.m. by Lieutenant Faye Calloway (Mission Specialist) (Lindsay B)

Faye tossed and turned most of the night. At some point in she finally drifted off a bit and settled into a dream. At least that was what it technically could be called. In reality, it was more like a nightmare. She found herself walking along a corridor with no doors, but at random points something she couldn’t quite identify would suddenly appear and jolt her with some sort of prod that caused that all too familiar burning sensation. She’d drop to the ground, gasping for air, only to realize that the only way out was to get to the end of the seemingly endless corridor. This continued for awhile until another bout of pain was accompanied by some sort of chiming sound and a barely audible voice. Another prod. More pain.

Bolting upright, Faye struggled to get her bearings.

“The time is oh-five-hundred.”

She sighed. Just her alarm. “Computer, end wake-up call.”

After a quick breakfast and shower, Faye got dressed and immediately headed for her lab. She definitely was going down to the jefferies tube to survey the damage, but she wanted to run some quick tests and survey the records to see if her hunch was correct.

Down in CS Lab 2, Faye ignored her current work-in-progress and sat down at a terminal to run some diagnostics. For the moment she could ignore her fatigue, but she knew it was going to catch up with later. Therefore, she likely wouldn’t have too much issues following her order to restrict herself to light duty.
