Faye gave Jasmine a sideways glance and gave a cheeky sort of salute. “Yes, ma’am.” She had already promised the Captain to follow the doctor’s instructions and she knew Cochrane just well enough at this point to know he’d give her hell if she strayed at all from those instructions. “An analgesic would be kind of nice right about now.”
“Do you want I can’t remember my name drunk without the hangover analgesic or Just enough to dull the pain analgesic,” Jasmine asked. “Don’t be brave of think I am going ot judge you. With the multitude of cocktails available to me it all about how you want to feel.”
Faye pondered this and knew that while she wouldn’t mind the extreme end of it, it was likely for the better to find a compromise. “Something in between? I know it’ll be fine, but with my other meds it can leave me feeling a bit weird if it’s too strong. I might be on light duty tomorrow, but I don’t want to be foggy.”
Frowning slightly, Faye leaned forward ever so slightly. “What happened to your face?”

“I forgot bedside manner 101. Don’t get close to a patient that can’t see and has no idea what’s happening to them,” she laughed. “I so walked into your right hook which was a doozy by the way. I never did that well in the self-defense classes. It never made sense to me. I mean I learn to kick your ass but then I have to spend the next thirty minutes putting you back together again. Awkward,” she replied laughing. “Anyway, it is just a bruise and will heal.”

Calloway bit on her lips to try not to laugh, but her expression couldn’t help shift into a rather large smirk. “Ummm… sorry? Good to know my aim is still decent though,” she said, failure terribly not to laugh. Still, she was glad Wynter wasn’t going to hold it against her. “One day I might tell you about where I perfected that right hook.”
