OOC: Hope it’s not to early to get this thread going from what I read in the main thread, just getting everyone gathered assuming the order was passed down

IC: It wasn’t too long before the word got down through security to get people together so that they could shut down and vent unnecessary parts of the ship to conserve power. Tyv had been in one of the hallways when the initial barrage happened. He currently had some cloth wrapped around his left arm that was dyed blue. He had managed to make it to the armory and had equipped himself with the standard gear, just in case of the worst. He had just finished leading another group of people as he waved them into the cargo bay. “Keep in line and keep moving. Don’t rush. I’ll try to get some word on the current situation when I can, but for now please stay together.” The cargo bay doors opened with their typical hiss and he waved them through as some ran towards others, glad to see them okay. While others grouped up and began talking about what happened in their areas. He knew from getting rocked earlier that the ship must have suffered some extensive damage, but as to how bad it was .. he couldn’t be sure.

Ensign Tyv (Security AC)

Having seen a stream of people clearly disturbed by some kind of calamity, Barvan, being the good security officer he is, decided to go against the tide and run into what seemed to be a cargo bay. He saw the door hissing open and a sentient with a security uniform entering.

He then ran towards the man he saw and came up to him.

“What’s going on here? Do we have an emergency?” Barvan said, his security uniform showing his superior he was in his department.

Tyv ushered him into the hallway to prevent any sort of talk over-spilling into the public which would serve nothing than to make them all panic in the confined space. As the doors hissed closed behind them Tyv then spoke, “I’m not sure myself to be honest, it seems that the ship has been attacked and has extensive damage, I was just patrolling one of the hallways when it was hit. A couple of conduits exploded and part of the ceiling came down on me. Thankfully, nothing more than my arm got scratched.” Though his definition of a scratch was … a little underwhelming considering that the cloth he had tied to himself was pretty damp and dyed blue. “All I got was an order from the Chief to begin gathering everyone into a few select areas, mostly the cargo bays so that they can shut down and vent non-essential areas since a good portion of the ship might be damaged. A tactical decision if I say so myself, it will serve to conserve power and allow life support to only function in certain areas, allowing for further power conservation.” He tilted his head as his antennae monitored the door for any listeners. “What happened on your end? Was everything good?” He wasn’t sure what area of the ship Barvan was currently in when the recent actions occurred.

Ensign Tyv (Security AC)

“I just returned from being reprimanded by the captain. I don’t know what the hell is going on. What do you want me to do, sir?”

Ensign Barvan, Security JO

His antennae somewhat curved inward to focus on him more as he arched an eyebrow and moved his head back, almost as if he were offended. He hadn’t heard about the reprimand yet, but perhaps the Chief had? He would have to figure out about what it was for later on. He shook his head lightly dismissing it for later. “We can talk about the reprimand later, for now we need to go about the ship and try to gather everyone into somewhat centralized locations. The cargo bays seem to be the best idea for many people. Let’s head in the direction of the armory and gather who we can and get you equipped.”

Ensign Tyv (Security AC)

“Seems like a good idea. I’m right behind you, sir.”
