He leaned back and smiled and said “Well… I do like music. So I may play an instrument… or, you know… five.” and he laughed. “Well, I used to. Haven’t since I was given the Manhattan, actually. My instruments are still packed away in my quarters or in the hold. What about you? What do you do when you arent pursuing logic problems and cracking computer code?” and he smiled at her.

Well, that was a very good question, now wasn’t it? What did Faye do outside of work? Nothing. Or well, that used to be true- now she had the garden. She shrugged. “The garden is a good outlet, but other than that, I don’t really do anything I guess. Mostly work. I might listen to some music after a shift.” Her gaze drifted off as she thought back to when life was full of small joys. “There are things I used to know how to do, like cook”-she gestured to her little impromptu cooking space that was an insult to call a kitchen-“but this is the first time I’ve done any of it in years. Just hoping I don’t poison us all,” she said with a chuckle.

“Well, there is that.,” she replied with a smirk. “And if all goes well, I’ll have to break out some old recipes and see if I can remember them well enough. Though I’m also looking forward to see what produce the garden will produce,” Faye added. “Do you cook?” she asked.
