The trails emerged onto the corridor. They were different from what she had seen in others. Those trails were faint, almost like moving lights captured over a time exposure. These felt less like that and more like she was sensing a person rather than a presence. But, that one that she had seen last seemed in the likeness of Tov, not just a line like a energy breadcrumbs.

In the corridor the others had disappeared through a bulkhead, the glimmer of ‘Tov’ just disappearing after them. The nearest door to it was down the hall and it led to the Recovery Ward. As the doors slid open for her the lights automatically came on. She could see the traces of their path even in the dark, brighter still then. Two were there, one had passed beyond more into the administrative ward. The only access from this ward to the admin ward was through a far door that was accessible by authorized persons only. Currently this ward was empty with no occupants. The two were standing beside a biobed and display looking at it, or so she thought they were. One turned toward Rollo then they each stepped through the biobed and the bulkhead beyond

Once more, Rollo tapped her combadge. =/\=Captain, Rollo here. I’m in the recovery ward. Two of the energies are here—wait…they just passed through a biobed and a bulkhead, but I swear one of them looked at me. Also, important point—there are four energies, not three. We only have three Gravinians on board so where did the fourth one come from? Are security and science on the way?=/\=

—Rollo, CNS

The ‘paths’ were not random, as Rollo would see, but deliberate paths. These ‘spirits’ were not drifting but moving about methodically. Rollo would guess that these energies were exploring; they didn’t know where they might be going perhaps in not knowing the ship, but they were certainly ‘checking it out’.

Once they had been dismissed by the Captain, Walker had made a beeline for the Counselor. Hopefully they could figure out something, and establish communications with the entities.

As he walked into the Recovery Ward, he flipped open his tricorder.

“Commander. The Captain sent me down to help try and establish some sort of communication with the entities. What have you found so far?”

WO Darach - COO

Glad that someone else showed up to help, Rollo held her position while holding out an arm to keep Darach from advancing any farther. Her voice was more than a whisper, but less than normal when she spoke. “One of them is right over there by bed four. It looks like its examining it. In fact, I think that’s what they’re all doing. They’ve become active in a place they’ve never seen before and now they are trying to learn about it. Every time I’ve made it into a room with this one, its been looking over the technical aspects of the place.”

Now she moved her hands in front of her body, palms out, in a ‘stop, wait’ gesture for the entity. “Lt K’sang is on his way too. He suggested trying to capture one of them in a stasis field and having the computer calibrate the shields with similar ultra violet lights found radiating off of the systems star. Can you do you that if I tell you exactly where it is?”

—Rollo, CNS

While they talked the entity seemed to notice the addition of Darach, though at the ‘stop, wait’ gesture it only paused a moment before moving through the bulkhead opposite to where the morgue was located.

The recovery room doors opened a moment later as the Klingon marched inside. “Where do you need me?”

K’sang, CSO

OOC: I edited K’sang’s entrance to make it fit. I hope you don’t mind.

IC:
A soft expletive erupted from Rollo as she turned towards the men on a dead run. “It’s headed for the morgue!!!” What would the alien think if it encountered the deceased forms of another species? Since she had no idea how intelligent the entities were, Zef couldn’t really hazard a guess. As she tore around the corner in the corridor, the aura of the alien’s passing was visible. It had indeed headed into the morgue. She zoomed up to the doors and then stopped short. “You two stay back a bit. This one has seen me several times following it, but you guys are new to it. I can still tell you where it is so you can put up a field around it, but I don’t want you to scare it.”

After that, she entered the room where the dead were kept.

—Rollo, CNS

“I’ll start making the necessary changes to the field, because of the inherent risk of too much UV exposure. I’ll start at Fifteen percent and increase percentage at one percent on a point zero-two interval. Would you handle erecting the field itself Warrant?”

K’sang, CSO

Walker nodded as they came to a stop just outside of the morgue, “Just tell me where it is.”

Flipping open his tricorder, he synced up with the ships systems, so he could activate the stasis field when they were ready.

WO Darach - COO

“Commander?” Walker asked as he looked around the door into the morgue. He looked over at Lt. K’sang. “Are you ready Lieutenant?”

WO Darach - COO

OOC: If this isn’t okay, Gene, then void it or change it.

IC:
Zef had moved to a place nearly in the middle of the room. “It’s five meters away from my two o’clock position. It seems to be interested in the body on the table. I’m not sure who it is, but the entity is on the far side of the table about midway.” It seemed very involved with the cadaver. Perhaps it could sense there was no life force in it? Without moving much, the counselor spoke to the men just outside. “If you’re going to trap it, you’d better do it now. It could move through another bulkhead at any moment.”

—Rollo, CNS

“I’m ready” K’sang said as he walked over to the nearest console to input the commands. “Make sure to tell me when to pause so we don’t cause harm.”
K’sang, CSo

OOC:
I don’t know how to move this forward without the GM. That’s what I’m waiting on. Zef told you where the entity was, so I guess you can initialize the field and we’ll see if it works?

D…

“Activating field…” Walker said as he tapped the commands into his tricorder to locate the field around where the entity was. “Now!”

WO Darach - COO
