Rollo transported into a room that was mostly dark, lit only by slim strips of blue luminescent light. The room looked out into space through a broad low portal that only partly showed a hint of Graven XII to one side. The entity had been gazing out that at the world, but turned at the sound of the transporter. It tipped its head to one side as though .. perplexed, curious, something else?
- WookieeZef thought quickly. Her body was turned directly toward the entity and she was looking it in the place where eyes would have been. “Please, stop.” She kept her voice soft and non threatening. “We want to communicate with you—to learn about you and your kind. We don’t want to hurt or threaten you. Please stay there.” She had no idea if it understood her or not, but it listened—or at least looked at her while she spoke.

The entity moved. It looked back at the world slowly rotating below then back toward Zef. It moved toward her in a walking gait, though it was apparent that the legs were not needed as the motion was smooth. Will was certainly behind the motion. It came to a halt about a meter from Zef. Here the glowing form showed more definition. Small sparkles, like tiny suns, could be seen in the body that was still transparent but had an opacity to it that made anything behind it look murky and distorted. Features of the person was more distinctive, just under the glow.
It looked .. still perplexed, though reached out one arm toward Rollo.
