“Okay,” Kiama replied with a slightly lopsided grin. Lying back down, she couldn’t help but chuckle ever so softly and found to her relief that laughing didn’t hurt any longer. So evidently not only her concussion had been treated, but also her other injuries. Not that she had expected anything else. But since had no idea how long she’d been unconscious, she hadn’t been sure if they had gotten there yet.
Shon smiled at Kiama, a soft smile that was more of an expression of relief than anything. But at that moment he realized that he was still in the raggedy clothes that he had torn up to make her bandages, and that probably didn’t help his case when he answered “Yes, I’m totally fine. Just some scrapes and I need to see the counselor as soon as possible, but other than that…” His humor was slowly returning. Shon moved to Kiama’s bedside and offered a more genuine smile. “Given what we’ve been through, they better name that anomaly after you now.”

OOC: I’m so sorry for my delay in posting. RL has been exhausting and quite a roller coaster ride lately.

Kiama slightly rolled her eyes at his last comment, but before saying anything about the anomaly, said, “I’m glad you’re okay. I was worried about you. As for the anomaly, I’m not sure I want it named after me to be honest. And I didn’t actually discover it. We just had the misfortune to experience it’s effects on holotechnology first hand.” Brushing a stray strand of curls out of her eyes, she continued, “Though I do want to study it further.” Biting her lower lip, her eyes became unfocused as she started to think about how the anomaly may have influenced the holodeck systems. “Do we know if any other systems have been affected?” she asked no one inparticular.~Lt.jg. Faye shook her head. “Nope, all good, as far as I can tell. I’ve isolated what is affected and it should be safe. Not sure when we’ll get use of the holodecks again, but I am pretty sure we can contain the anomaly in a stasis container and then move it somewhere else on the ship for study. But, it’ll need to be done carefully.”
Looking between the two, Faye pondered. “How about we give it till tomorrow and then meet up or something in the lounge? I think you need at least till then to rest,” Faye said, looking at Kiama directly. She felt pretty certain that Shon would agree with her.
