Luke felt as if his senses were heighted, his own internal ‘red alert’ sounding as he made his was into the brig. As ordered THE camera system had been placed on a loop and the officer usually on duty relived having suddenly falling ill. “Faye” He said softly as he approached the cell she had been placed in. “I have some things to give you, we must be quick” He lowered the forcefield and waited.

Legs stretched out crossed at the ankles, Faye had turned her head to watch him approach. Dressed all in black and her boots back on her feet, the showered and tidy woman was definitely appearing much different than the distraught person he had come across in the middle of a night terror. Lipstick that was somewhere between a dark red and black graced her lips and as she looked at him, her expression was one of amusement and composure. Despite his words, Faye moved in almost a languid way as she slipped off the bench and stood, her steps towards him purposeful. “Awww Wyatt, come to kiss me goodbye? How sweet, since it might be the last time you see me,” she said with feigned cheer, the jest entirely meant to be provocative. One could imagine she might even bat her eyelashes at him if she felt inclined.

Coming to stand before him, Calloway had of course heard his words and despite her curiosity, she wasn’t sure what this man did or didn’t know. All Faye knew for certain was that yesterday he had taken some rather drastic actions against her (no doubt because she bruised his ego) and she only knew the half of it. Did she trust him? Not even close. But with the situation the way it was and her in the position of prisoner (however willing she had once been), there was little she could do but wait to see what resulted from his words and actions.

“Kiss?” He said a little taken by surprise before shrugging off his sudden bewilderment, apparently, Faye scrubbed up well. “What, no.” He held out his hands “I actually have a parting gift” he opened his palm face-up which showed an extremely thin but solid long filigree hairpin made out of a rock-like material, it wouldn’t show up on any scans unless they were looking for this exact composite, such as how they would be when tracking her if they needed too. It also meant she could wear it in her hair. Luke had even designed it himself knowing that it would compliment hair eyes and lips, everything was in the detail. To anyone, it was just a decorative piece but too Luke and more importantly Faye it was a weapon and a way out.

Being in the cell had been like being stuck in a dead zone with no sensors or communications. Even Alex letting her know about Blue had been a near missed opportunity and Faye hated not knowing what was happening outside the brig. But with no other choice and her only option to trust others to help her, she wasn’t going to let her own anxieties about the situation and distrust of this man stop her from playing ball where she needed to. “How generous of you.”

Reaching out with her delicate fingers, she plucked the hairpin from his hand, her eyes fixed on him. Reaching her hands behind her she lifted and twisted her single braid against the back of her head and wove the hairpin through it securely. “Anything else?” she said, her tone softening ever so slightly.
