The night, apart from the idea of disembodied spirits wandering the ship, was quiet. Tov’s vitals stabilized and a transfusion from Second Minister Maree helped. It was not particularly any ‘clock’ time that could be discerned or looked to for when the Gravenians might awaken, but they came awake quite normally, if a little eerily being within seconds of one another. All but Tov who was still recovering. Hone, the doctor, shook his head and rolled slowly off the biobed, blinking to get his bearings again.

“How is Tov?” he asked, shuffling over to where he was and trying to make sense of the readings above on the console.

Meanwhile, elsewhere on the ship, Faye was gathering supplies for a return to the surface. Too many pieces to puzzle out, but there was a thread of excitement coursing through her. Planetside and a mystery? It was like a perfect day. So long as no one tried to take over her body or some such nonsense.

Maree shifted and rose a couple of minutes after Hone did, to find him bent over Tov.
“How is he?” she asked, her morning voice sharper and a bit gravely.
Hone grunted. “Stable, I think.”
“You think?” Maree retorted. “I need better than that.” She swung her legs over the edge of the biobed. “Can’t say much for the comfort of the bed,” she muttered.

Hone looked around. “Can someone translate the readings for me?” he called.
“And breakfast,” Maree added quietly.
- Hone/Maree

“Breakfast I can definitely help out with,” Walker said as he made his way into sickbay. “As for the readings, it depends. What readings are you looking at?”

Maree stretched and caught herself being just a tad off balance before she slid off the biobed. “Did he need much blood?” she asked.

Making his way over towards where Maree and Hone were, he took a look over at the console they were looking at.

Hone replied, a stubby finger pointing to the medical readout. “This here. I gather from the images that there is a focus on the primary injury on your scans, but in a translation I don’t know if the reading is good or not.” He glanced at the recovering engineer. “Tov looks like he is resting and he has some color now,” he added, though visually for a person whose hue was purple, it likely took one to know that.

OOC: Tov was stable and his more serviceable injuries had been attended to. The region around the surgery was still being observed with some swelling and an increase in temperature there.

Cochrane followed closely behind and said “Good morning. I have taken the liberty of having breakfast set up in the Officer’s Mess. I invite everyone to join me after any of your questions regarding Mr. Tov are answered. There is much we have to discuss.” Cochrane’s tone was polite, professional, and diplomatic. To those who were familiar with him, however, there ewas a definite edge. And those who picked up on it also knew that the ‘invitation’ was far from actually being one.

“I’ll stay with Tov,” the doctor said.
Maree evidently did catch the tone and replied, “I’ll be happy to join you, Captain.” She glanced at Hone and then to Tov. “It is a new day and with light comes knowledge.”

Walker raised an eyebrow at the Captain’s ‘invite.’

“Well I’m sure that will be a better breakfast then I could whip up here. But what questions do you have?”

WO Darach - COO

“So, no questions then? Because I could really use a cup of coffee, if you don’t have any,” Walker said as he gestured towards the door.

Kaia wandered into Sickbay, looking around at those assembled. “How is Tov?” she asked, looking worried. She blamed herself partly for his condition, since she had been the one to notice the phantom girl, and subsequently the crash. She rubbed her left arm, just over where the break had been.

Kaia, Eng

“It looks like he is still recovering Ensign. Though I couldn’t say much for how his exact condition is, my forte is not in medicine. Give me a basic med kit and I can help in the field. But this is definitely beyond my normal skill,” he said with a chuckle.

Maree was joined by the doctor, Hone’s intern, whom Baht had beamed up with him. “I’ll go in Dr Hone’s stead,” he said, then, “And send something back for him.”

Maree, as they moved along, inquired, “I have heard that some people ‘dream’ that their minds are alert or something as they sleep and that images run about. Do you, Captain?” She sounded in tone like she had lost something she felt she’d have liked. “We don’t.”
