The reply was almost immediate. =/\=On my way, Captain.=/\= Zef knew Faye was to have an interview with someone she was anxious about. She figured the meeting had happened by now and the Captain had questions.
The counselor arrived at Cochrane’s quarters a few minutes later, carrying a PaDD in one had that contained Faye Calloway’s files.

Cochrane motioned her to a chair and said “Counselor, the Commander requested your presence here. Commander, you said you had a request. Let’s hear it.”

Shara watched Zef for a moment before she shifted her attention back to Cochrane and nodded, turning her chair slightly to include both of them. “Okay, so I fully realize that not only am I greatly biased here, but this whole situation is quite… personal. That being said, I know my daughter, and her disorder, well enough to know that these next few days are going to be a challenge.” She shifted her attention fully to Rollo. “Counsellor, just so you are aware, and to keep the story very short, Faye’s handler from Starfleet Intelligence arrived and through his discussion with Faye was proven to be an imposter. Her real handler is said to be still alive. The captain has taken steps to aide in his rescue, but for the moment his true status is still up in the air. Faye is currently in her quarters, hopefully sleeping.”
Shara exhaled. “My assignment here has meant that I have had full access to Faye’s records. So I know her history. Faye has been through a lot the last few days and some of it I’m not even sure any of us fully understand or comprehend. I do know based on her past actions in a state of crisis, that if we miss something, if we aren’t on the ball, Faye may, either knowingly or by accident, take actions that might cause her further harm. What I’m asking is that we… keep tabs on her. That we take steps to intervene if necessary, while still giving her time to process what all has just gone down. But the thing is that Faye’s too smart for her own good sometimes. If we set up timed wellness checks, she’ll be on to that pattern in no time,” she said with a tiny smirk. “But no matter how we go about it, I think it would be wise for those who care about her to regularly check in to see how she’s doing.” While she wasn’t sure Faye was truly at the a similar tipping point, she wanted to avoid a situation like what happened on the Curie.

Zef listened quietly, absorbing what the Cmdr said about Faye. In her mind, certain things fell into place more definitely, like a key sliding into a lock. Aside from being responsible for the mental well being of Calloway, she genuinely liked the woman, so she was certainly on board with whatever it took to keep her well adjusted.
“Cmdr, I’ll do everything I can to help your daughter. Is there a chance she might hurt herself or someone else in an attempt to find out where her handler is?”
