“Science get me an answer as to the nature of that energy signature. Counselor, you need to get our guest talking in something other than cryptic threats or we are going to have problems. Minister, I am formally requesting any and all information, historical and otherwise, concerning that specific location.” Cochrane said flatly. He looked at the scan feed for a moment. “Mr. Darach, scan the planet and then the surrounding system for anything like that same signature.”

Zef moved a few inches closer to Dia. “We are trying to understand the situation down on the planet and what the night entities were trying to do here on the ship during the sleep cycle of the Gravenians on board, but pieces of information are missing, Dia. The time of the eclipse is getting closer and closer and we might not have enough time to find the answers we need before it happens.” She tried to will the being in front of her to understand. “Were there visitors to the planet a long time ago? Are the night entities those visitors? Does the eclipse signal a change in how things will be in the future?”

Dia shook her head slowly, wisps of her deep purple hair shifting with the motion. “You do not see either,” she said sadly. “Even with the Sight. Everyone has forgotten. There are no two. There is only one.”
- Dia

Maree looked to Hone and then back at the Captain. Some of her old fire returned. “If I knew I’d be telling, Captain. If you could revive Tov I’m sure he could tell you more. History was never in my interest range. All I can remember is Tov telling me of ruins in that area that had been looked at thousands of years ago but not since. I remember him asking me at that time why not now and I said I didn’t know. Maybe he knows more. Maybe Acosta would have an idea.”

“Will do Captain.” Putting actions to his words, Walker expanded the area the sensors were scanning to including what he could of the planet and the surrounding system. Trying to find a similar reading to the energy readings they were getting from the site.

WO Darach - COO

A scan of similar energy came up … well, uncertain. There were some indications in the space around the planet and Manhattan, and a similar kind of indication on the surface of the planet where there were known habitations, but nothing in the surrounding system. Computer results were firming up the type of energy equivalent, though the scale of it was much different. Different as in most of it was just a small fraction of what the computer records had on Metron scans from the past century contact, but for the one area where the away team was - that was significantly higher.

Cochrane looked at Maree and said “Minister, with all due respect, I’m not asking what you remember… I’m asking you to find out. If Tov found the records, then there are records. Call down and ask someone, if you would please be so kind. What we are seeing potentially a threat to both this ship and your people. Proactive action is the rule for the day.” and he gestured to the comms officer’s station and then looked at the officer and said “Make sure the Minister gets ahold of whomever she needs to… and make it happen yesterday.”

Pretha’s fingers had been numb a moment, but she had recovered and stood by to be sure the young one, or at least young looking one didn’t cause anything more than a bit of static when touched.

In another moment, at the Captain’s bidding, her fingers were immediately dancing over the console to activate a security Away Team. =^= Oberon to Security. Assemble Bravo Team for immediate transporter to surface to assist Calloway’s Away Team.=^=

=^=Oberon to Wyatt, what’s your location and status?=^= If he was busy, she wasn’t going to intrude, but he was certainly needed on the bridge at this moment.

Raye had come to the bridge with the others and was standing to the side observing everything. Whatever was happening, this was certainly going to change her report on requesting a contingent of Star Fleet to consider an Embassy here. If this was a significant occurrence, one that put everyone on the planet and in space in jeopardy, then she certainly needed to keep track and make sure this wasn’t a deal breaker on that score.

She was intrigued that the child was drawn to Zef. But it didn’t surprise her. She hadn’t ever gone back to speak to the woman in a while and something told her, after this, Zef may need someone to talk to, herself. She made a mental note to try and be a bit kinder to the woman. After all, in space, they were family. Right?

Wyatt had already been making his way to the bridge, “I’m here Lieutenant whats thew situation?” He said scanning the bridge crew to gauge what they were feeling, it wasn’t good. He immediately took up position behind the security console before looking to Pethra, while he waited for her answer he input his authorisation codes to access the console.

“I am being as proactive as I can be, Captain,” Maree snapped back. “I don’t have my fingers on the pulse of the academic community and I could dither about in calling around. Or we could try to wake up Tov. My nephew would have those names directly if he can’t answer the questions.”
- Maree

Cochrane didn’t respond to her directly, but he tapped the comms and said =/\= Bridge to Sickbay. Doctor, I don’t know what you have to do to get Mr. Tov awake, but try. He may have the answer we need to start unraveling this problem. Contact me as soon as he regains consciousness. Cochrane out. =/\=

=/\=Sir that is going to be problematic. Not only are our friends asleep but their signs are indicative of being in a coma-like state. Think bear in winter hibernation. I have them hooked up to every monitor and scan we got and everything is coming back flat, steady and undeviating. Sir we only force a patient to consciousness in a state like this in the most direst of situations. We also generally have the right because they are Starfleet officers and that gives us the leeway to do it. Performing such things on civilians or someone like the Graviens who we aren’t sure even their physiology could be disastrous. In fact, I am not sure how we would even go about it safely. The only things we have to pull someone out of a state such as Tov is Leporazine or Netinaline but the side effects for us are possible neural metaphysic shock, cardiac issues, respiratory failure,=/\= her voice trailed off. The list of possible system failure was long so she only tagged the big ones that could cause immediate death. =/\=Don’t we have any Graviens awake on this ship? How do they wake up their people and if they don’t I am not sure we should make Tov Starfleet’s guinea pig on this Sir.=/\=

Lt. Jasmine Wynter CMO

Cochrane’s jaw clenched as he jabbed the comms icon on his chair arm. =/\= Well, Doctor… something is trying to pull this ship into the planet below us and we have a specter of some sort standing on the bridge talking about the end of all things. Additionally, the location we are being pulled to has the ancient remains of another vessel buried in it… and from the looks of things that landing didn’t go well either. So if that meets your standard of ‘direst of situations’, then perhaps you could start the process of waking Mr. Tov up? But I will ask if that is ok with the Minister, as she is standing right here. =/\= Cochrane stood up and put his hands behind his back and looked at Maree and said “Minister, you heard our doctor. But we need Tov to tell us what he can… or you can call down to someone and try to find out what is so special about that spot. But either way, we need that information… and we need it now, ma’am.” His tone was calm and even… but it was obvious he wouldn’t be dissuaded from finding out what was going on.

Cochrane, CO

Jack arched an eyebrow as he heard the Captain. He understood the urgency, but there was always a danger he knew from his own traumas waking people up before they could be ready. Sometimes you got forced into a hard place and a rock though, and this felt like one of those moments.

Creed, XO
