Cochrane sat in the Ready Room reviewing the file of the Manhattan’s new Helm Officer. He nodded slightly as he read, it was a solid record. But there was more to the position than just moving the ship, and Cochrane wanted to see what kind of personality was going to be on the bridge. =/\= Lieutenant JG Aevin to the Ready Room. =/\= he said flatly into the shipwide comms and then he sat back, reading.Cochrane, CO
what could he possibly want? Another transfer, perhaps? It wouldn’t be my shortest stint. Aevin rose from his seat behind the desk in his quarters and left the last of his unpacking behind. He walked down the corridor and got in the turbolift with a Vulcan crewmate he didn’t know. “Deck one.” The turbolift took off and only took a few seconds to deliver Aevin to the top deck. He strode down further to the ready room and pushed the door chime. Always a mild grey area, but with a new CO, always preferable to air on the side of cautious formality.
