The group began to break up into various smaller groups, getting to work and attempting to fix the issue. Shedda motioned Valharra over to her, and then approached Kela and Thera. “Priestess There, Writ-keeper Kela, may I introduce Lieutenant Satok Valharra. He is our chief science officer, and quite skilled. You mentioned that he would be able to speak with Scientist Reauna. I have always been of the full belief that the sooner a problem is examined the sooner we can work on a solution.”

“I would be honored to help assist your scientist with this dilemma.” Lt. Valharra said as he thought in the back of his mind about his brother whose yacht was taken through an anonomaly a few years ago. He still hopes to see his brother again someday. Suppressing his emotions about his brother, he looked calm as he spoke to the XO and the Priestess.

(Bumping for the board and holiday craziness)

Thera and Kela both bowed their heads and the now familiar slow sweep of a hand. Scientist Reauna, close by, imperceptibly tipped her head but her eyes made a slow, cat-like blink before focusing on first Mal’athar and then Valharra. “I am pleased to meet another scientist. Thoughts have a way of coming to life when engaged in intelligent discussion. Our dilemma has been a long time in coming, however quite recent in execution. For me this problem is one of energy and retaining the link to all the streams in the link between the cities.”

Within the temple .. the dark gateway that had been pointed out and which was considered as an avenue of communications turned to a swirl of purple and black before quickly solidifying. A moment later dark figures started emerging. Tall as the native Tramelorin’s they appeared bulkier due to gleaming, faceted body armor and visored helmets. They carried stave like objects in their hands ..

Lt. Valharra looked at what seemed to be a portal opening up, and by instinct placed his hand over his phaser. “What is that? Who is that?” He asked not realizing what he was thinking was being spoken outloud.
