Ben raised a slight eyebrow at the results as they came in. “Well, a few bumps and bruises…” he said, continuing the scan, “but it looks like they’ve all be attended to, so at least I know you’re not persistently avoiding us medical folks.” he said with a smile.

“I saw from your file that you’ve also go some allergies and a sensitivity to bright light. I am assuming these aren’t interfering with your day-to-day lifestyle?” he asked. He knew that some Starfleet officers could try to be a bit macho and not seek help, but he always had the mentality that any fool could be uncomfortable.

“Doesn’t bother me too often when it gets to be a problem I come by to ask suggestions. As for the lights after a long shift I just turn things down once I am off duty. Hasn’t affected my work thus far and if I does I will be sure to come by.” Devin said softly but honestly. Sure she could stay away from the plants and not get pollen in her face but what was the fun of living if not enjoying the pretty flowers and such?

Ben nodded. “Well, you must swing by if anything flares up; I’m a keen believer of medicine improving the quality of life, and not just there to keep us alive longer.” he said with a grin, before flipping closed the tricorder.

“I think that pretty much wraps up your medical, Ensign. I would say I’ll see you in here again in 6 months time, but I feel that we’ll be knitting bones before then.”

“That is possible but until I find a willing parkour partner shouldn’t be that soon.” Devin said with a cheeky grin at him. “Thank you Doctor Hudson, I will try to not get in your hair too much.” she added as she waited for him to step back before she hopped off the bio-bed.

“You’ll need to find a braver soul than me for that.” he said with a grin as he stepped away from the biobed. “I much prefer water sports; find me a boat and some water, and I’m there!”

Lt. Hudson
Chief Medical Officer

“Boating water sports? Like skiing or something else?” Devin asked curiously as she hopped down and looked up at him. She honestly preferred swimming but some boating sports were fun to try.

“Oh, a mix.” Ben replied. “I do love sailing, but also enjoy swimming and diving, although I’m not too much of a fan of being pulled along on a set of skis.” he said with a grin.

Lt. Hudson
Chief Medical Officer

“You should try the Rainbow caves swimming and diving program sometime. If you want company I can even show you the lesser known side trails to swim and explore.” Unless he already know the program completely, then well she tried at least.
