Walker was on the bridge at the Ops console when he saw Faye walk out of the ready room with a purpose, straight to the turbolift.

“Lieutenant, is everything ok....” but before he could finish, the turbolift doors closed.

Painfully slow considering the size of the ship and the fact the ready room was on the same deck but the time it took for him to get the phaser and navigate through the shift change as people streamed onto the bridge and corridors he finally made it to the room. The sight in front of him was most certainly the ‘Worst case scenario’ as he saw both the XO and CO unmoving and slumped over.

=^=Wyatt to Sickbay the Captain and XO are down, I need medical to the ready room now! Lockdown the ship we have an intruder.=^=

Moving across the room he checked on both their pulses whilst asking “Computer who was previously in this room.” two more security officers entered the room with phasers drawn and scanning the room before one leaving and the other coming to help Luke with the CO and XO.

Jack grumbled as he began to stir as his eyes began opening as he felt himself realizing this was a bad idea. Jack wasn’t certain still if they did the right thing. He still felt there was a dozen other ways to try and sniff out any moles that had been effecting Faye if she really truly was innocent. If this backfires, he doubted he would hear the end of of it from Intelligence.

“Sir, We have secured the transporter rooms and shuttle bays but we’re unable to also secure all the decks, there’s just not enough of us.” NE Wilson explained to Lukes great annoyance, after this mission he was asking for a Brig, an office and more security officers.

As the lockdown order popped up on his screen, he noticed the security officers headed towards the ready room and followed.

As Darach was making his way to the ready room a set of turbolift doors parted and two medical officers, Doctor Che’lak and young nurse NE Benton, each clutching emergency medical kits, hurried onto the bridge and followed him into the room.

“What happened in here?” he asked, noticing the Captain and XO on the ground.

WO Darach - COO

“What the?” NE Benton exclaimed as he surveyed the scene, poking our from behind the towering Vulcan doctor. Making subtle movements, Che’lak nodded and pointed, silencing Benton and passing him instructions. In a matter of seconds the two medics were knelt beside the unconscious officers. Che’lak flipped open a tricorder and began scanning the captain’s vitals as Benton did the same for Creed. Her pointed chin orbitted slowly as Che’lak rolled her jaw.

In the corner, a third figure sat up, her face set in a frown. Middle aged (in a 24th century definition), Human and wearing both three solid pips and Intelligence division colours, she groaned as she pushed herself groggily to a sitting position. Looking over at Creed and Cochrane, she sighed as she shifted her gaze to the others. “We were about to arrest her for espionage. Find her…” she said adamantly as she brought a hand to her blond hair

“What she said…” growled Jack as he began shaking his head to get the ringing out of his ear. Looking over at Shara Jack took a deep breath. “If she gets away, I will hold you to blame…” he said as he looked over at the Captain. As a member of intelligence he wasn’t quite sure any of this was done correctly, but he seemed to be having his hands tied. Seldom did anyone just give chances like this, but the impassioned speeches of togetherness made Jack hope against instinct they should trust Faye.

~Commander Shara Calloway, Starfleet Intelligence

Luke didn’t notice the other woman until she spoke but addressing her, “Who’s her Commander?” He asked the question simple and not requiring any further promoting from the security officer.

  • Lieutenant Luke Wyatt

“Lieutenant Calloway,” the woman said, gritting her jaw. “She’s armed, and fired at us when we confronted her.” the woman pushed herself to her feet but a wave of dizziness made her reach out to brace herself against the wall. There was, perhaps, a touch of resemblance between this woman and their apparent spy.

~Commander Shara Calloway, Starfleet Intelligence

Cochrane gritted his teeth as his vision cleared. “Dammit…” he grumbled and then sat up slowly. Looking around, he seemed confused for a moembt and then he snapped “Where the hell is Calloway?!”

The medical scans showed only light phasor wounds and no serious damage. Her beside manner as suitable as always, Che’lak simply nodded affirmingly to the officers as they brought themselves up. “We shall stay on hand in case of any further injuries.” Another nod to NE Benton was all that came from her before the two junior officers packed up their kits and sunk into the wall at the side of the ready room, allowing those in the know to converse.

Lt. J.G. Che’lak - Medical

Just then the Security Chief’s comm chirped. =^=Chief, it’s Oberon. Just came on duty to the alert. What’s going on? There’s reports of phaser fire on the bridge?=^=

The new security officer was no nonsense and obviously ready to do whatever was needed.

Lt Pretha Oberon
Security

=^=Not bridge, Ready room. It would appear Lieutenant Calloway has shown her true colors and has attacked the command staff. We are to apprehend her but first I want the shuttle bay and transporter rooms secured. We can not allow her to leave the ship. Take some people and secure her lab, break-in by any means necessary and isolate it from the main computer core, who knows what she has installed.=^= Luke ordered standing up from where he had initially been tending to the Captain. Turning back, having just surveyed the room he looked to the Captain, and seemingly who Luke identified as perhaps a sister to the data analysis and now traitor. “I can’t say I didn’t see this coming. What is she likely to do?” He looked from the captain and then pointedly to the Commander, wondering where her allegiances might lie.

  • Lieutenant Luke Wyatt

Cocbrane rubbed his head and said “Belay that order for the lab. I’ll go personally and shut it down.” He stood up slowly and shook his head to clear the last vestiges of the stun effects. Lookingvat Wyatt, he said “She is too be taken into custody. Stun her if you have to, but she goes to the brig not the morgue, you understand me Lieutenant?” Without waiting for an answer, he loked at Creed and the senior Calloway.

“Both of you should have anticipated this. You both are the Intel specialists, right?” he said with an edge to his voice that made his displeasure obvious. “Secure the auxiliary bridge as well. Last thing we need is her trying to take over the whole damn ship.” and he stormed out of the Ready Room to the bridge.

Jack gritted his teeth, he knew they were trying to cover this but he wasn’t keen on it all seeming like he dropped the ball. Ruse or not, he wasn’t one to just let things slip his attention in the first place. “If only we knew some one… familiar with her.” grunted Jack as he stormed off to try and play his roll. All of this he felt was due to the rumor mill of Faye and the Captain being an item. Jack would have arrested and interrogated Celina personally if he thought she was a spy before letting her make some plan to go run around the ship pretending to be run away to clear her name. It wasn’t like Jack didn’t have a cadre of tools to find out if someone was lying, at least that anyone knew about.

Taking his seat, he keyed the comms to shipwide communications

=^= Attention all hands, this is the Captain speaking. There is a fugitive on the loose in the ship. Secure all quarters and initiatite boarding protocols. Anyone who sees Lt. Faye Calloway is to report it to Security. DO NOT ENGAGE HER. That is an order. Leave her apprehension to ship’s Security. Cochrane out. =^= Cochrane then stood up and looked back at Wyatt. “Have a security detail posted outside the door to her lab. I’m going there now.”

Cochrane, CO

Creed, XO
