JT turned from the helm station excitedly “THE Delta quadrant?!… as in Cap’n Janeway and Voyager Delta Quadrant?”

“And I just managed to get all the sensors degaused after the starbase,” Wendell said.

CSO

Danora laughed at JT. “You and your Janeway obsession. I’m sure more than her ship have gone the since. But yes…That Delta Quadrant.”

She shook her head at the boys. “Wel just think, sir,” she did to the Science Chief, “you know your reading will be super accurate.” The idea of the worm hole and going to the Delta Quadrant thrilled the engineer. Her fascination with star chats and newly explored territories was growing. And this was going to be an incredible opportunity to see things she’d never seen before. This was why she’d joined.

Tyrran couldn’t help but smile at their banter. He straightened up in his chair and cleared his throat.
“Let’s find out what the Delta Quadrant wants. On screen.”

Mulligan, XO

BJ hadn’t been to the delta quadrant in awhile. Not that he wanted to remember doing that. He was still unhappy that he didn’t see the torpedo stuck in the Ark Angel. But he was looking forward to going back. The delta quadrant was always an interesting place.

The screen shifted and a Human man with four pips and a command uniform appeared. =/\=Hello Memorial. Captain Ralph Winchester here, CO of Starbase Event Horizon. Fleet HQ said you were the closest to the wormhole exit and we need your help. A short while ago, something triggered the wormhole to open and while we didn’t get great scans, we did detect a small object that made the transit. We’ve not had anything randomly trigger the wormhole, so HQ agrees that it should be investigated.=/\=

Tralla walked onto the bridge from her ready room at that moment having heard everything that Captain Winchester had said she spoke as she walked to her seat “Is the object on our side of the wormhole captain?” she asked curiously “Or will this become the Memorials first trip into the Delta Quadrant?” she added he bright green Cybernetic eyes starring at the captain Tralla stood at a respectable 5’ 10” tall not including Antenna her snow white hair was cut in a punk rocker haircut and she moved like one who was ready to jump into a fight when necessary

Tralla

Tyrran stepped back to allow the Captain her space. He stood attentatively with his hands clasped behind his back.

JT had never been to the Delta quadrant before, but as Danora mentioned, he did have an obsession with Janeway and Voyager. He wasn’t sure how she knew, but that was a question for another time. Meanwhile he began to plot the course so it would be ready to go when the order to punch it came.

Helm

=/\=On your side,=/\= Captain Winchester replied. =/\=Like I said, we didn’t get much of a read on it, but it’s a metallic object, mostly likely artificial. Not very big at all. It should have exited the wormhole about twenty minutes ago and I doubt it’s drifted very far since then.=/\=

Turning on his heel Tyrran strode back to his chair, swinging the display toward him as he sat down.

“Understood we will check it out and keep you informed anything else you can give us from your scans could be helpful” the Andorian said giving a cocky smile “The Memorial has your Back!”

Tralla

“Data packet recieved,” he reported as he watched the display intently.

Mulligan, XO

Captain Winchester hadn’t been kidding when he had said the scan results were sparse. As best they could tell, the object was metallic (made at least partially of duranium), spherical in shape and small (no more than 2 metres in diameter) and giving off an energy signature not unlike some sort of shielding. They wouldn’t likely find out anything more until they located the object itself.

Shadowing under a more experienced officer, Ensign Merot stood at Tactical, black eyes surveying the bridge. Mentions of the Delta Quadrant had peaked interest and sparked curiosity with a lot of the bridge crew. The young betazoid did not share these same feelings. The Delta Quadrant was a mystery, the small pieces of information that Starfleet had uncovered from the quadrant indicated there were plenty of horrors hidden away on the other side of the Galaxy. But, the communication with Captain Winchester and the information of the object they received didn’t alert him to any dangers. It wasn’t his place to voice his paranoia. So, he stood at his station, continuing to observe.
