Sim Summary to Date:
The crew has been asked to investigate a sphere that passed through the wormhole that connects the Alpha Quadrant to Starbase Event Horizon in the Delta Quadrant. After tracking it down and some initial scans, they have brought it aboard into a shuttlebay discovered that it is quite old and has an interesting construction (https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf1/memorial/posts/112001/). A hatch on the outer sphere has opened up and they are investigating both the interior systems and what the second sphere inside is all about. Organic matter has been detected inside the second sphere and there are lines on the exterior of the inner sphere that might indicate a hatch.
Path Forward:
People need to DO something. Currently the majority of the action is coming from one character and yet there are may people in the shuttle bay watching. Voicing a thought in your character’s head or even aloud is fine, but it doesn’t help move the sim forward, because it’s not initiating any action.
Ask questions, get curious. Yes, there is a containment field up, but we can make it so others can be on in the inside with Danora if you think that would help. No one said it was an uncrossable barrier. It can go down and back up as needed.
We’re nearing the end of Act I and I promise more of the crew will have something to do, but if the sim is dependant on the action of one character then it’s not fair to that player and not very much for everyone else. ;)
