Having been aboard a mear hour, Fletcher had located the two main parts of the ship he needed to his quarters, so he had a place to hit the hay, and the recreation area to settle down with a nice cold beer after a hard day.

The time was 1415hrs and the newly appointed councillor had 15 minutes until his first and most vital meeting of the day the meeting of the commanding officer. Trundling down the corridor still in his casual loose-fitting sweat pants and branded Starfleet T-shirt Fletcher or Fletch as he was known by previously colleagues trundled down the corridor searching for the nearest turbo-lift this had been the councillors first time serving on a Memorial Class starship and orientation wasn’t till later that evening.

Coming to a sharp halt at the next corridor, Fletch spotted a beady-eyed Ensign sporting a well-pressed security uniform. “Aha,” he said aloud, “security must know where there going ” he muttered. Walked down to the next bulkhead the young blue-eyed councillor came to a stop in front of the young officer and addressed him. “Afternoon Ensign, would you be able to direct me to the Turbolift please, turns out these memorial class ships are bigger in person” he spoke in an embarrassed manner.

Looking up from his PaDD chuckling the ensign spoke “Not at all my friend” said the office in a warm welcoming tone, sounding like that of a 21st tour guide with a hint of auctioneer. “What your gonna do is your gonna walk straight down this corridor” raising his hand in the direction of forward, “roughly 4 bulkheads down it’s your second door on the right”

“Thank you!” he exclaimed walking off in the vicinity the perky security guard had directed him in. Arriving at the turbo lift tapping the call button twice. Potts allowed the hydraulic-powered doors to slide open before stepping in. Roughly 90 seconds later following the command to travel to the bridge he allowed the doors to open once again before stepping out.

Walking onto the bridge, the young blue-eyed male peered around in ore clocking the door labelled ready room as he did. Pivoting around on his left heel. Marching along the back of the bridge he walked down a convoy of four steps and up to the door tapping the chime once Fletcher stood in the position of attention waiting for permission to enter.
