The Memorial was cruising through space at a leisurely pace, heading home after an interesting mission. Not interesting enough, apparently, for young Kota, who was bored. And what do kids do when they’re bored? They explore, of course. Kota herself was an avid explorer of places, and by carefully sneaking around, she had managed to find her way onto the starship’s bridge, where her Ta’ta said all the important decisions were made on the ship. There was a person in the big chair in the middle of the room, so the ambitious youngster decided that was where she would go.“Hallo!” she exclaimed, slipping around the chair and looking up at the person in the Captain’s chair. Kota herself was a supremely small individual. She was 6 years old, and just over two feet tall. Her face was like that of a cat or an otter - small nose, large eyes, covered in soft brown fur. She wore a pair of simple pants with a hole cut in the back for her thick tail, which trailed behind her, thankfully not leaving a trail of water, as she’d been careful to dry her fur thoroughly before exploring. She wore no shirt, but the aforementioned fur kept her plenty warm.

Tralla looked down at the voice her eyes were a Vibrant green unnaturally so this of course was because she had cybernetic prosthetic eyes She smiled at the little girl “Well Hello and who are you?” she asked kindly

“I’m Kota,” the child spoke, looking up at the bright-eyed woman with wonder. She glanced around, ears pricking up with curiosity as she looked around the noisy room. “Ta’ta says this is where the important people are,” she declared.
