Tralla had after getting off duty come back to the quarters she shared with her husband BJ and started making dinner for them She wanted to talk to him about something important and wanted to get his opinion on things she was making him all of his favorites as well turning down the lights for a romantic mood she had replicated candles as well so it was clear that she was going for a romantic dinner she hoped he would be done soon though soon everything was ready and now came the waiting gameTralla

The day had gone well for BJ. He had finished up most of the reports he had to do. He didn’t like doing report. He entered the quarters to see his wife. BJ was surprised to see her. She wasn’t normally here at this time. “You’re home.”Janzen
“Yes I Know i have been a horrible wife and I want to fix that” she said smiling at him showing him that she made dinner “Shall we?” she asked offering him a seat

She was doubting herself again. BJ understood that she had responsibilities to do. If she was as terrible as she said; the spread of food said otherwise. “You’re not and I’ll eat whatever you set before me. You already know that.”

Sitting down to dinner with her husband she was smiling “I know But I feel like I have neglected you honey I want to be a better wife I want to be a better mother to Lilith and have more children with you” she said as they started to eat “But,,,Is the fleet really the best place for us to raise a family? What would you think about maybe…retiring from Starfleet and settling down on earth?” she asked as they ate

Did she say what he thought she had said? She wanted to retire. That was certainly a surprise to him. He thought that this was what she had wanted. “Aren’t you a little young to retire?” BJ wanted to see how she reacted to his assumption that his wife was still young.
