Lieutenant Bol Th’arhosren walked down the hallway towards the sickbay. This was the first time in a few years he had done a boarding physical, he thought to himself.He absent mindedly walked through the door and began looking for a doctor. Flashbacks of the last time he did this were playing through his head.
Lieutenant Bol Th’arhosren (CE)
As He stared off into the distance a calm voice would meet his ears “Can I help you Lieutenant?” The voice asked, it belonged to KT-QT her tone soft and gentle, Her dark green mottled face and yellow eyes framed by her long black hair, which cascaded down form the soft ridges of her forehead
“Lieutenant KT-QT Chief Medical Officer” She said introducing herself.
Lieut KT-QT (CMO)
He wheeled around to see who was talking and saw her. “Lieutenant Bol Th’arhosren, the new Chief Engineer. Reporting for boarding physical.” He said, in a very formal tone. He assumed she wouldn’t let him stay this formal though.
He politely extended his hand for a handshake.
Lieutenant Bol Th’arhosren (CE)
KT took the offered hand “Pleased to meet you. And relax I’m not that bad” she said playfully as she lead the CE to a bio bed. “Tale a seat and I’ll get started” she aid her tone warm and kind.
He chuckled as he sat on the bio bed. “As long as you’re less crazy than my last CMO we’re good.” He said jokingly.
“So I know it’s a very basic question but, Has anything in your medical history changed since your last evaluation?” she asked as she grabbed a tri-corder and started scanning.Lieut KT-QT (CMO)
“Nothing of note, although I did have a cold last week. But we all get sick once and a while, right?” He said, loosening up already. “How long have you been aboard the Memorial?” He said, trying to be sociable. Although his being an introvert generally made this hard. That was why he was tense.
Lieutenant Bol Th’arhosren (CE)
“Getting sick isn’t much of a problem for me” KT said kindly. She hoped that her statement would peak the engineers interest. After all if you can distract people with their interests they tended to loosen up and relax, as they where talking about something they where passionate about.
“I’ve been on the memorial for a few months now.” she added after a short pause.
Lieut KT-QT (CMO)
“It’s not?” He said, getting drawn in. “How’s that possible?” He said, curiosity piqued. He couldn’t remember hearing about a species that rarely got sick, which is what she is if he heard her right.
