Ciaran had finished unlocking his gear in his quarters and looked at the clock. It had been well over an hour since he had asked for the location of the captain. He had hoped this was enough time to get the captain back into his office and settled in after his flight. Ciaran decided to go ahead and make his room to the captains ready room. After a few minutes of riding on the turbolifts and walking, he arrived to the external door of the captains ready room. He straightened his uniform before ringing the bell. He then rang the bell and waited for a response from the captain.Lt Cmdr Donoghuei
XO“Enter” came the feminine voice Called Walking into the ready room the new XO would realize that this captain seemed to enjoy colder temperatures than most species there were models of starships on display hanging on the wall to the right was a painting though it looked as if it was done by a child on the wall directly behind the desk was a display of Bladed weaponry and firearms there was even an Andorian Ushann-Tor blade there was a lone figure standing at the window behind the desk she had the top of a flight suit which was peeled down revealing the casual uniform tank top though it was showing the signs of having fended off a very intense level workout this woman held a PaDD and a Towel was wrapped around her neck her Shoulder length snow white hair was styled rather messily her blue skin shimmered with sweat as she turned to see who was at the door her eyes locked with his and he would be able to tell right away they were Cybernetic implants as their shade of green was quite frankly impossible for nature to produce “Can I help you Commander?” she asked

When Ciaran walked into the ready room, he noticed it was somewhat cool. He was not bothered but just noticed the difference. He then looked at the captain and noticed she was a very pretty woman. She was not what he had expected based on her record but that was neither here nor there. He was both nervous and excited about reporting in. It was getting more real with the check in with the captain for his new Executive Officer position. He was trying not to show his excitement. He then responded to the captain, “As you probably already know, I am Lt Cmdr Donoghuei, your new executive officer. I have recently arrived to the ship and I am checking in. I am ready to perform my duties to the best of my abilities and to meet the requirements of being an executive officer for Star-fleet.” He then waited for a response from the captain.

XOshe turned at his announcement “Oh right Mazie warned me you were aboard Sorry I was not there to greet you myself but When it comes to the Zurui kitsune No one handles her maintenance but myself I am an Engineer so, of course, i take my Yachts maintenance and test flights seriously” she said setting the PaDD down on her desk and motioning to one of the chairs on his side of it “Would you care for something to drink?” she asked moving towards the replicator

Ciaran thought for just a second and said, “I would love a cold glass of water. Thank you.” Ciaran was happy to hear about the captain still being an engineer at heart. That was Ciaran’s baby up until now. He then said, “I don’t blame you with taking care of the maintenance and test flights seriously. I would do the same. Since I come from an engineering background as well, I understand how you feel. I also can tell when something is a little off just based on the way something sounds or feels. Always trust my gut that way with anything mechanical.” He laughed internally. Ciaran then said, “I am looking forward to working with you and the crew and doing the job of the executive officer to the best of my abilities.” He was hoping he did no come across too strong. He then waited for a response from the captain.
